Rating: Summary: More Than A Slave Indeed! Review: Author, Margaret D. Pagan wrote very passionately regarding our ancestors struggles of slavery in the early 1800's. The character of Katherine Ferguson portrays a beautifully spirited, God - fearing slave who walked in the vast knowledge that she was indeed `More Than A Slave.' Pagan wrote Katherine Ferguson's character with well-defined diction. I highly recommend this book for those who may have any doubt that God is definitely in control. This would be a great read for children who love to read as well. Jackson Mississippi Readers Club (JMRC) Reviewer
