Summary: a beautiful journey
Review: A good friend pointed this book out to me. And, I couldn't have read it at a more perfect time. Reading about Currott's journey instilled hope in me about my own path towards love, which includes self-love.

It's wonderful that Ms. Currott chose to include a rather helpful reference section in the back. While I am not Wiccan, I was inspired to cast some spells of my own! I was entranced by the artful creativity of the magical world that she describes and partakes in; we truly can find and or create beauty and magic in our own lives, if we choose.

I found this book nurturing, candid, inspirational, informational, and beautiful. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for true love.

Thank you Ms. Currott for sharing and please keep on writing!

Summary: Fascinating, Sexy, and Entertaining--all at once
Review: I loved Ms. Curott's first memoir, BOOK OF SHADOWS, for the way she was able to tell an interesting story while imparting all manner of fascinating information--from feminist history to magical traditions to religious theory. She's done it again with THE LOVE SPELL. I was sucked into the story just as if it were a novel, but also learned all kinds of cool things like techniques of sex magic, more feminist history, relationship advice, and most importantly, the eroticism of spirituality (and vice versa).

I highly recommend this book for anyone who is longing for a fulfilling, loving relationship. And anyone who's looking for a great read!

Summary: Not what I expected
Review: This, the third of Phyllis Curott's books that I've read was more than I expected. Any woman (or man) who has ever longed to find their soulmate, should read this book. Anyone searching for love should read this book. It is not a love story, not in the typical sense -

While the first chapter was a little slow, I was totally engrossed by Chapter Two. "A Memoir of Spiritual Awakening" is an apt description of the story contained in the pages of this work.

Ms. Curott's descriptions of her spiritual and sexual growth are vivid and honest. I appreciate the honesty with which she shares her journey. Such openness and honest communication is rare in today's literature.

Read this book, you and the one you love will be inspired!
