Review: After 6 weeks this book arrived in my mailbox and it was worth the wait. This book is strongly indicative of the artistic crafting meshed with honesty that is such a feature of the Ragamuffins and Rich Mullins. There are many jewels and insights into the art of prayer ... each writer brings a different perspective that not only enhances the reader's understanding of prayer, but draws them into that longing for communion with God. There is a rare honesty that is refreshing in each of the writings and the photos enhance the book. Its a gem! This is the type of book that will make an excellent gift for anyone who hungers for the reality and presence of God ... BUY IT!!!

Summary: A true treasure and a good read
Review: I had been anxiously awaiting the release of this collection for some time now and I was not disappointed. Everything from the front cover to the amazing poems and stories are dripping with inspiration and God's touch. I cannot think of a better companion to the album "Prayers of a Ragamuffin". Even the beautiful s are prayers in and of themselves. Finally, check out one of Rich Mullin's final published writings titled, "Early Morning Prayer."

Review: I love the honesty and imagery in this book. It's found a permanent spot on my coffee table, and I love opening it and spending peaceful moments looking at the pictures. What great photos! I've already had a friend comment on how nice the book is, and I've only had it for a few days. The reflections are so honest; they are encouraging for those of us who struggle to have a prayer life or think that we don't measure up to others in this area. The reflections challenge me to be more intimate with God, and to view prayer as a source of life and hope and peace, not something that I simply "should" do. They also challenge me to think of prayer as a discipline that I can develop, and when developing it I will be blessed. So the book is encouraging, peaceful, and inspiring. If that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed.

Review: Prayer. Mediate. Love. God. Jesus. These words meant a lot to me, but now I have found a new meaning to these words. This book contains the deepest and most intamite prayers. I recomend it to anyone.
