Review: Indeed a MUST HAVE for any advanced student of Biblical Astronomy.This book consists of many extensive informational charts and lists relating to the subject. While not the easiest read it is certainly a very valuable tool for the advanced student.

Summary: An Enduring Work on Astro-Theology
Review: This work is a classical text on Astro-Theology written in the earlier part of the 1800's. Rolleston lived from 1781 to 1864, so the style and feel of the book is from a different era. The book attempts to correlate the twelve signs of the zodiac with biblical prophecy, and as such provides the reader with exquisitely referenced tables with biblical chapter and verse related to matters of the Zodiac. The book is divided into five parts, the last two of which deal with Egyptian mythology and the correlation of the Planisphere of Denderah ( of which a large foldout page at the begining of part V makes very easy to study). A very thorough and wonderful work on the astronomy of the ancients of a multitude of traditions, with an emphasis on Christianity and Egyptian, but also touches on other ancient cultures. This book if thoroughly read and studied will give the reader a very classical education. I cannot imagine a library without this tome.
