Review: Every Mother should have a copy of this beautiful little book.
Mine is also the burgundy leather bound edition. It has gotten me through some very hard times. I pick it up throughout the day. It is filled with wisdom, love, beauty, and reassurance.
One day, I was in a situation where I did not feel that I had the wisdom I needed to understand something I needed to do.
I prayed, and told God that I did not have the wisdom, and needed his help. I felt calmed after a short prayer, then picked up my Mother's Topical Bible, and opened it randomly. The first scripture before my eyes said that if anyone lacks wisdom, ask of me, and I will give it to you.!! It was a conversation with God. I realized that God had heard my prayer, and was speaking to me after my prayer. I went to where I had to go, and was given all the wisdom I needed from God so I could understand what I needed to for some very important decisions..... On another evening, I was very worried about some
things that seemed out of control in my life, and I felt at a loss of how to make things better. I turned on the light, and
opened the Mother's Topical Bible randomly. Before me on the first page I opened to, was a verse that said, "Do not be afraid...for I will help you." Again, God spoke to me. It was so reassuring.
This little Mother's Bible is small easy to carry, and the leather bound edition is especially nice when a mother will be using it daily. It has headings for every need/ concern/ joy/
desire a mother may have: EX: When you want to be...A patient Mother...An Understanding Mother...A Creative Mother...When Your Child...Becomes Unruly, Is Beyond Your Daily Influence, When you must balance family and career, When you feel unusual stress, When you want to be close to God, When you feel like a failure,
When Your Husband...etc.
It is a beautiful little book that gives a mother reassurance, strength, and wisdom and patience and shelter from life's storms to get through any problem or concern by having a small little book full of powerful messages from God. Every Mother should have a copy of this beautiful little book

Summary: Great for a quick reference on a large number of topics
Review: I really enjoy this little Bible and keep it on my desk for quick reference. Under any given topic there are a number of verses and you can usually find at least one that "hits you" right where you need it. Every now and then I see one that seems less related to the topic (to me), but I think that is because each topic has verses listed that might approach that subject from a number of angles. The copy I have is in burgundy bonded leather and King James Version and would make a wonderful gift. I wish I could find more copies of it, and that I could find it in the New International version for my NIV-loving friends.
