Summary: This is One Bodacious Book
Review: I read Linda Hollies book and loved it! I read a chaper a night while on vacation. I couldn't shut up talking about it to others and decided to purchase a few copies after I had to return the one I borrowed. I knew I wanted it in my personal library so I could refer to it whenever needed. It spoke to my heart and put a fine point on experiences common me and I'm sure many others. This book helped me to see me in terms of how God sees me and places me in key pivotal places in the biblical record and I found that very validating. This book's relevancy goes way beyond gender or any descriptor that might limit how we love ourselves or others. I read and highlighted portions for my son to read and used the book for us to explore our views on male/female relationships. I was amazed at how open he was to it and I know he found some things relevant to experiences he has had with women. I purchased three more copies to give as gifts or just to give to someone who looks like they need to know the truth about who they are in Christ and the world.

Thanks to her thought-provoking writing and the "Just Between Us" questions at the end of each chapter, it provided us with a format for heart-to-heart sharing and lively conversation. Personally, it has deepened my Faith and given me the courage to live a fuller, bolder life. The reason I have written this review is because I am in the process of ordering 2 more copies as Christmas gifts and I want to spread the word about this book of Life Lessons. Our class loved it so much, we gave it as a gift to one of our bodacious Pastors. We would really love to have Linda Hollies come preach at our church someday!
