Rating: Summary: A well written compendium Review: The Anglican Church has influenced millions of people all over the world. It is the largest world wide church after the Roman Catholics. But unlike the Roman Church, there are few well written sources to introduce the history, theology and personalities of this Christian Body. While this book concentrates on the Church of England, there are also chapters about the American Episcopal Church, and the world wide Anglican Communion. Anyone who is interested in learning about this Church would benefit from reading this very interesting, very readable (and colorfully illustrated) book.
