Rating: Summary: Great for defining what each subject means and how to use it Review: Each of the little booklets included in this series discusses and defines the subject at hand, briefly and concisely. Each booklet is about 15 pages long, very well written and makes the subject very clear, and I believe, each booklet will be very useful to new and older Christians. Take for example, the booklet on "Prayer". This little booklet (about 16 pages) is very well written and summarizes prayer. Nee asserts that prayer is a basic right given to us by God. It tells how to develop a strong practice of prayer, gives examples of what to pray for, and tells what the Word says about how God answers prayer. It gives advice based on Scripture concerning actions that we can take to increase the effectivity of our prayer life (God's conditions).
Rating: Summary: This is essential reading for every Christian, new or old Review: This is the transcript of a series of classes that Watchman Nee prepared especially for young new believers in his province. They are clear and concise and easy to uderstand. Most of all, they are absolutely uncompromisingly scriptural. The format of 24 booklets in a sleeve binding is an excellent idea that makes reading all the more enjoyable. I love the way he deals with so-called problem issues and verses! Rather than seek the slightest compromise or backing down on anything that the word of God says, his approach is full steam ahead to understand and explain. If you are starting out in the Christian life, you cannot choose a better book, sincerely. If you have been a Christian for a longer time you will nevertheless be enormously blessed and inspired, as I was, by reading through this series. One bit of advice: read them in order. Often reference is made to a previous topic and so you can follow much better if you procede with them as he wrote them. God bless you!
