Summary: A Book to Live With
Review: As of today I have shared nine copies of Illuminated Prayers by Marianne Williamson. I have given these books for graduations, for people experiencing illness, and for the absolute joy of sharing a spiritually uplifting book. Each recipient has responded with sweet gratitude. I have found this small publication to be of great value to me in my "ordinary" life. All things great and small seem to be covered by these wonderful prayers. This book has given me grace to pray in times of stress and pain as well as times of peace and joy.

Review: As usual, Marianne delivers an honest, passionate book. The prayers are beautifully written and will inspire you, comfort you, and uplift you. I highly recommend this book!

Summary: This book is a treasure.
Review: I bought this book for my nephew who is battling cancer. There are very special prayers in this book; one was particulary applicable to his situation. I marked the page of the book containing the prayer most pertinent to him. He was extremely touched by the book and, I hope it brought him a measure of spirituality that he hadn't felt before. The book is very comforting and very beautiful. I am getting a copy for myself so he and I can discuss the prayers when he is up to it. I wanted him to have something to hang onto when times are rough. I think he has been helped by this book, and so have I.

Review: I bought this for my wife who really loves this book. She had a
copy of her own before but gave it to her sister for her 75th
birthday. Her sister really loves it too. She says she reads one
of the prayers every day.
After my wife gave hers away I tried to find a copy in the local
bookstores but was told it was out of print. My wife was upset
when I told her. It was to be a Valentine present for her since
she loved it so much. Then I thought of buying it on Amazon.com.
The book was excellent, exactly as advertised. She loved it!!

Review: I love this little book. It is beautiful to hold, to read, to see. I can pick it up and in a few minutes read through many of the prayers. It helps set the tone of day for me if I read it in the morning. At night by reading it I can find some peace in the happenings of the day. It is adaptable to many situations that we find ourselves involved in daily, interpersonally and with a world view.

I have a number of prayer and meditation books - but none is picked up as often as this one.

Review: My family recently suffered the loss of two small children ... one to illness, the other to a tragic accident. This book contains so many uplifting and healing prayers; I bought one for everyone in the family who has been questioning 'why us?', including one for myself. This is a gem that will be truly cherished for a lifetime.
