Rating: Summary: Be a Money Magnet Review: Murphy has a gift for expressing great truths in a clear manner. If you are a hard worker but simply can't seem to get ahead, this book is a good one to have. But I also highly recommend Murphy's Your Infinite Power to be Rich, which goes into more detail. As always, Murphy includes specific examples of what people can achieve if they start using their imaginative intelligence. These examples will inspire you to try out his methods for yourself.
Rating: Summary: Other Books by the Author Are Better Review: There is nothing wrong with this book or it's content. It is a book about subconcious mind control, through affirmation and visualisation. So why did I give it 2 Stars? Very simple, the reader would be better off buying YOUR INFINITE POWER TO BE RICH, by J. Murphy All the content in this book is covered in greater detail in the aforementioned book. I hate books that are produced as an off shoot from another book. I always feel as if the reader is being conned by the publishers, to increase their revenues. If you would like a full review of the content of this book, go to the review I gave for, Your Infinite Power To Be Rich. The concept is the same, but this time the book is too short to fully appreciate the analytical concept. My Advice is forget this mini book and buy Your Infinite Power To Be Rich.
Rating: Summary: Very Little But Very Powerful... Review: This book is wonderful. In less than 100 pages, the author demonstrates that the ability to attain all the money one ever needs all boils down to a state of consciousness: "A state of consciousness is what you think, feel, believe and mentally give consent to" (PG. 69). And as Joseph Murphy says, you can answer your own prayers. "Your knowledge of how your mind works is your savior and redeemer" (pg. 16). A rather astute business man once said, "If you take money out of the hands of everyone who has alot of it now and put it into the hands of those that don't....it will soon be back in the pockets of the people who had it in the first place. On first glance the above seems like such an elitist statement but in fact it is largely true. The wealthy have one state of consciousness and the pooer have another--this is the primary cause of financial hardship. Many people, through conditioned beliefs, have convinced themselves that they should always have money. As a result, they attract the type of opportunities, people and circumstances that actuate their beliefs. It has nothing to do with inherited money--just take a look at the 587 people on Forbes' list of Billionaires in 2004 and see that more than half those people are self made individuals. Once one convinces themselves that money will flow freely into their lives, it does! Does it fall out of the sky? Not likely. But even the idea that money does not come easily, i.e. fall out of the sky, is a conditioned belief. When we change our state of consciousness we allow to flow into our lives the ideas that generate money and circumstances that generate more money (and example is that you may become more promotable because of your changed subconscious beliefs about what you are worth, etc.). I firmly believe the ideas espoused in this book work because I have employed them with some measurable success. But as the author so wonderfully suggests, try it for yourself. There is one thing you cannot get in life and that is something for nothing. This is not a book to read and then magically assume that money will begin coming to you if you don't do the work. But here the "work" is mostly mental not physical. Take a chance, buy this book, let wonders happen in your life and then pass it on to help someone else. I wish you luck.
