Rating: Summary: Changed my life! Review: I couldn't help but see Danny on tv, in magazines and even on my local radio station once. He really touched my life.I saw Danny lecture @ Amherst a month ago and he truly has a heart of gold. I bought his book and read it all in one night and it REALLY changed my life. We focus so much on material things and wanting lots of fancy stuff, but we forget that items can't bring happiness. I give so much back now because I get so much in return: true joy and happiness. Heaven on Earth is a fantastic book. I can't wait to give it to my friends and family this holiday season and for many years to come. Thank you Danny. You are an angel.
Rating: Summary: A surprising, extremely helpful book Review: I picked up Heaven on Earth in the bookstore intrigued by the "15-minute miracles" the author touted in his substitle. I thought, "Really...can we make a difference in the world in just a few minutes?"At the end of each chapter, the author gives 10 concrete ways (I mean, the 800 numbers and website are included) we can help others. The day I got the book, I donated my frequent flier miles to help the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, took some CD's to the neighborhood music store to sell for a local animal rights group, and even got some friends together to plan for an upcoming "anti-graffiti" day.I'm not easily swayed by things...especially a book. But Heaven on Earth is fantastic. I think all of us want to help people and make our world a better place....but really, how? Danny Seo shows us how. Everyone should read this book.
Rating: Summary: Amazing...very practical Review: I saw Danny on CBS This Morning sharing ideas from his book Heaven on Earth. I ran out that morning and bought it and was pleasently surprised. Danny's ideas are so simple and easy to do. He tells you where you can, for example, send your cell phones so watchdog groups can use them to call 911. Or where to send sneakers so Nike can recycle them into playground surfacing. This book is changing my community and my life. This holiday season, I'm buying copies for all of my friends and family. With so many hokey self-improvement books out there, Danny is right: To be a better person, you muse do selfless acts. Thank you, Danny!
Rating: Summary: A perfect gift for the holidays Review: I was at the mall the day after Thanksgiving---fighting for a parking space, shoving my way through the stores---when I realized how silly this whole Christmas shopping thing is. SO, I gave up. Instead, I'm giving away this book to everyone on my list (well, except the kids). It's really been a life-changing book for me, and I hope it'll be for other people, too. The reality is, I could buy something for my friends and family, but do they really need more clutter in their life? I don't think so. This book is a great gift to give.

Rating: Summary: An inspirational audiobook Review: My friend gave me this audiobook as a gift after she saw the author on "oprah." I don't normally listen to audiobooks, but on a trip up the coast of California, I popped it in. I never considered myself an activist, but these tapes totally make sense! It so easy to make a difference and it doesn't take a lot of time to do it. I totally recommend these tapes to everyone! And as the author says...when you're done with them, donate the tapes to a local library!
Rating: Summary: This book is great! Review: My wife bought Heaven on Earth after seeing the author on Oprah a while back. I thought i was a stupid book because changing the world can't possibly happen in just minutes a day. Sounded like a quick fix to me. After I read the book, I changed my mind. Danny has some brilliant ideas that can work. While it's true the world may not change using his ideas, your community will become a better place. well, mr. seo, I am a convert now. Can't wait to hear more ideas from ya.
Rating: Summary: Gotta read it Review: This book should be required reading! It's an incredible handbook for anybody interested in being part of the solution rather than part of the problem. There's a great section on volunteering also. Many people don't feel like they can make a difference in the world. But, this book shows that it takes very little effort to bring about positive change.
Rating: Summary: An exciting book---great read! Review: Walking through the bookstores last weekend, I came across this book in the "self improvement" section. I thought it was odd, sitting between books on "satisfying your lover" and "finding your color code," since it was book on creating miracles. Danny's book is incredibly practical and innovative at the same time. He understands that we're all busy and do not have time to "devote endless hours" to changing the world. I like his chutzpah. I've got a few minutes each day (for god's sake, if I have time to praise Heaven on Earth, then I have time to be selfless). His 100 ideas are my fav.---he gives all the info you need to make a difference in just minutes a day. I'm glad I stumbled across this book and have bought copies for my parents and my best friend. It's a great, great, great, great book.
