Rating: Summary: I told ya so... Review: Jan 29th, 2003 the president in the state of the union said "In the Middle East we will continue to seek peace between a secure Israel and a democratic Palestine."A few days later, the space shuttle Colombia breaks up over the president's home state of Texas roughly over a town called Palestine. We'll have to see what comes out to see if Bush was twisting Isreal's arm again to give away land like he was doing right before Sep 11th, 2001. This book could have been shorter because much of the material is repeated over and over, which made the book very annoying for me to read. Sorry Bill and John. You did your homework right, but next time get a good editor and let them do their job.
Rating: Summary: Right Idea - Bad Packaging Review: This book could easily have been half the size without loss of content, due to redundancy and inclusion of irrelevant material such as summaries of mid-east players. However, the fundamental premise is sound and worth noting. Jews might agree on many points up till the final scenario. It would have been useful to include reproductions of some news headlines mentioned, as well as some of the measure for measure repercussions which happened to Israeli leaders who tried forfeiting the Land of Israel, (e.g. Ehud Barak being taken down right after his Camp David surrender and his attempted "Secular Revolution"). It was annoying to filter through and I had hoped for more, but there were some good gems to be found.
Rating: Summary: A Wake Up Call! Review: This volume brings Israel's role, past and present into the modern world. It helps point out some of the errors in some church doctrines.
