Rating: Summary: Excellent book! Review: This book kept me up late reading and not many books can do that. I don't want to give too much away from the story, but I love the way things are woven together by the end of the book. Suspense and drama with the flavor of space flight that I like. Highly recommend for any sci-fi lover.
Rating: Summary: Best Christian Science Fiction Review: This book started as a fictional moon landing, but blossomed into much more. It ended-up addressing the possibilties of how man may have advanced at one time, before our modern age of technology. It also addressed the depravity man could have reached at that time. I enjoyed the thought-provoking concepts the author weaved into the fabric of the book, as they were an interesting take on a time that most people view as primitive, but really may have been much more. Exactly what am I referring to? Well, you'll just have to read the book to find out. You won't be disappointed.

Rating: Summary: Great "what if?" Sci Fi book Review: This is a very good book about a potential Apollo 19 launch to the moon. The characters are well developed and engagingly written. I was impressed by the 'behind the scenes' information provided as well as the human drama. Not too much science as to feel like a lecture, and enough to seem very realistic. The story is great and poses many questions. What if that booster engine just would not fire? What if you were stranded on the moon? How would you deal with being the astronaut who had to return without his buddies? These are all examined and the book is really a page turner. I enjoyed it all the way through to the end. Well worth the price. A truly enjoyable read.
Rating: Summary: A Good Read, but not a page-turner...4 Stars.... Review: This was my first Shane Johnson novel and I bought it based mainly on reviews that I read on this site. I was not disappointed, but I do feel that the story was a little slow in the middle. It started well, and I was hurriedly flipping pages in the first several chapters. But I found myself wanting to skip over the middle section, which I thought moved slowly. BUT.......the ending MORE than made up for the slow middle chapters. And I am VERY thankful that I did not skip anything. This book really makes you think! In all, I would definitely recommend this book and I look forward to reading Johnson's next novel. This one was a "must" for any Christian Sci-Fi lover.
