Rating: Summary: Mexican History made very personal. Review: A college course in depth and content but so fascinating I could hardly put it down. I'll be on pins and needles all day 8/13/99 and will pray for Peace on Earth.
Rating: Summary: A giant leap into portals of self-transformation. Review: John Mini has illuminated a map of the inner and outer self and brought us access to star portals of transformation. "The inside as the outside, the man and woman, the Alpha and Omega, Kan and Nac" . A dance into the the Aztec mercavah of infinite possibilities as the feathered serpent quetzacoatl returns to reset the great mind seal.
Rating: Summary: Well that's it, then, isn't it? Review: So much for August 13th, 1999, being a "day of destiny." Next stop - the end of the Mayan calendar.
Rating: Summary: Well that's it, then, isn't it? Review: The analysis of the calendar weaves the threads of ancient wisdom all together in a concise read without missing the depth. I could not put it down! You can see various world philosophies come together in this book, and watch physics and spirituality become one.
Rating: Summary: So much happened on August 13, 1999 Review: This day of August 13, 1999 was a great turning point for me as well as for many others who participated in the celebration. It was not the end of a calendar at all! In fact it was a day for new beginnings and living your destiny. The book is incredible and valuable even after the date, as 90% of it is about the geometry, technology and spirituality of the Aztec Sun Calendar. Anyone who is interested in ancient culture that is alive today would benefit from and enjoy this book. The books takes you on a journey from the explanation of why the date of August 13 was important for the Aztec people to the very scientific and detailed description of the Aztec Sun Calendar - much of which does not appear in any other book on the Calendar. I highly recommend it.
