Summary: Matthew 6:5-6
Review: "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

So Dubya has received his reward [the election, questionable as it was] served up to him by people who claim to be Christian, but who seem not to have read the Bible. A sad day when "moral values" comes to mean fearing the gay couple next door but not caring that the average age of a homeless person in the United States is 9. Yet, the Good News is that God does know the hearts of men -- a thought that would leave George W. Bush quaking in his cowboy boots if he actually believed. In this election it seems that the hypocrites formed a formidable united front. True Christians should stand up and take back the name of Christ from these pretenders to the throne.

Summary: Read both
Review: By all means, read this book. It will convince you that, time and again, President Bush has said the right thing. But don't read only this book. Read also Ron Suskind's "The Price of Loyalty", which will convince you that, time and again, President Bush has done the wrong thing even while saying the right thing.

This pattern of behavior brings to mind several words, such as "liar" and "fraud", but the one that fits best is "hypocrite".

Summary: Great book, gave me new insite:
Review: First, to Matt from NC: It's sad that you couldn't figure out that John3v9's review was trying to make fun of Bush. Plus, you yourself spelled "speaches" wrong!

Okay, now for my review. This book really gave me new insight about Bush. I really did think he was an "idiot" until I read this book. I would vote for him anyway, because even if someone mispronounces a few words doesn't mean they don't know what's best for our country. But after reading about his experiences and his life, I was really impressed about all of the challenges he overcame. Anyway, just my opinion.

Summary: Orwellian to the core.
Review: I am surprised to see a book written by a man, who admittedly doesn't read.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: I really enjoyed this book. Great speeches! So much more action behind his words than the president who preceded him. I believe George Bush is a good man. I disagree with some of his spending decisions but He is not a Liar! You may not agree with him on policy but no person could even come close to saying that he is not a truthful man. He has been a strong leader for this country. Oh, but where we would be today if ole'what's his name had been in the White House on September 11th. God bless George Bush with Wisdom and I pray that he will seek the Will of God.

Summary: George Bush = worst president ever
Review: I think that what john3v9 wrote is probably the most ignorant review I have ever read. His spelling is just like George Bush's speaches and he is extremely rude in his profile. He goes on to say that he is a very good christian and that anyone who doesnt "speek" english should leave this counry. Christianity is about love and stuff of the like and all he can do is judge others. If Bush's Christianity is anything like john3v9's then we dont need a Christian president.

And the product description just makes me cringe as well. It says he does not use his beiefs to discriminate. Well, what do you call the Federal Marriage Amendment then? And his anti-abortion laws? He uses his beliefs to discriminate all the time. This country is based on freedom of religion. And freedom of religion means ANY religion. We cant have a president who puts his beliefs into the constitution.

One last thing: you don't choose who you vote for by their religion. If you do, then you have lost the point of the election. You are supposed to vote for who will do the best job, not who shares the same belief system as you. An atheist, jew, or muslim could run the country better than some christians so it is just another form of discrimination to vote based on religion.

Review: Not a bad read ... (don't listen to the other guy, he lacks the ability to reason and thinks, not surprisingly, that all forums are for his political grafitti and compaining ... what a clown).

Summary: Bush - the holy terror
Review: There is a separation of church and state for many reasons. George Bush being one of the biggest. There have been few countries that have been able to mix state with religion successfully. If you want your society to survive you must give people choice. Jesus was all about coming to him on your own, being forced into Christianity isn't a Chrisitian Ideal at all. Jesus befriended the sinner and led by example. George Bush can make all the religious statements he wants- truth is in action not speeches. In the end, we are judged for how compasionate we are and how nonjudgemental we are. Jesus said, this rule above all others...Treat others as you would have them treat you. Above all else, if you do this, you make the world a better place. Like Ghandi said, We must become the change we want to see in the world. Therefore, if you want peace you must give it, you must act peacefully. Thats TRUE CHRISTIAN BELIEFS - Lets try to teach compasion and understanding. not hate. Besides so litte of what he has preached has ever bore fruit. And Clinton did have one of the best records for job growth, economy and international relations. Going to war for peace is like screwing for virginity!

Summary: Veni Vidi Vici
Review: These are truly inspirational words from a man and two ghostwriters who have been through it all. From college coke binges to recreational genocide, the frank admissions of George W. Bush are downright refreshing in this era of government goons who throw metaphorical matches at our great Constitution. President Bush is a true champion for freedom, and the very fact that this book was published is testament to his persuasive brand of bumfuzzle logic. While everyone may not agree with his policies, his devotion to reuniting church and state elevate him, in my book, to the level of the great Saint Apollyon...a pioneering spirit and zest for life not seen since the dark ages.

Summary: Beware Bush-Haters!
Review: This book gives the TRUTH about President Bush. Freiling researched through all of Bush's speeches to give the real essence of what he's said on the issues that really matter most to our country. Issues like abortion, compassion, low taxes, and fighting evil. President Bush has compromised on some issues but when I read this book it reminded me how far we've come since Bill Clinton. A must read for anyone interested in knowing what Bush stands for.
