Rating: Summary: Cayce should've been discredited long ago. Review: Attention, New Agers, curious casual readers, fans of the arcane. I knew someone who was in the '80's very much like you. She, too, searched for life's meanings and hoped to find some seer to validate her quest for a reality beyond the visible. But guess what she found instead? Fakes, quacks, self-serving egomaniacs and cultists. Yes, she went to them all. And the late Edgar Cayce was almost always praised by all of them as one of the greats. Was he? Nope. How do we know? Well, look at the track record of the "sleeping prophet". Did Atlantis rise from the sea at the end of the 20th century? No. Has medical science proven his statement that moderate tobacco smoking is actually good for you? Heck no! I only have room for 1,000 words here, folks, so I can't go on and on but I could. Cayce was an oddity, no doubt about it, just as was Rasputin and others. But any careful examination of his life, works, claims and above all his predictions, will lead anyone with a halfway open mind to the conclusion that very little that Cayce did or had to say is worth spending a dime to hear, and could even be dangerous to follow. My advice is listen to others, who may well be wise women and men, but look within yourself and weigh their words against what you know to be true. Ask what anyone's motivation is in telling you anything, and see what they stand to profit from having you believe them. Let me close with some advice give me by a wise person some time ago: Pay more attention to what someone is doing than what he is saying. Millions of dollars are made annually off the legacy of Edgar Cayce. Don't add your money to this pile and don't bother with this or any of the heavily-edited modern paperback Edgar Cayce books. Thank you!
Rating: Summary: WONDERFUL Review: I am a professional clairvoyant with the Edgar Cayce organization and teach intuition in ARE programs. I know Kevin personally. As a person who contacts the Akashic records in my readings, I can tell you that Kevin has an amazingly deep and clear grasp on the subject. I sometimes wonder if he is not Mr. Cayce reincarnated himself! The stories in this book clarify a complex subject and make it accessible. Read anything written by Kevin and you will feel the purity and clarity of a crystal bell within it. He has a way of making the obscure graspable.

Rating: Summary: A Fascinating Account of the Past, Present, and Future Review: This book explains what the Akashic Records are, how Edgar Cayce accessed them while giving his many readings, and how they influence all of our lives everyday. The author provides invaluable information on how the records impact our lives, and explain why we experience what we experience. This is a must read for anyone seeking greater knowledge of their personal history (past lives and experiences) and mankind's history.
