Rating: Summary: Down to earth and beyond Review: I picked up this book and just could not put it down. I found that the author wrote in a very down to earth fashion that anyone could follow. Moriah made me laugh, cry and get through things I didn't even realize I had to get through to open me up to my gifts. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to get more intouch with their inner self and beyond so they too can be a Happy Medium.
Rating: Summary: Funny & Informative - You'll Love Her Wit & Wisdom Review: She may be young in age, but Moriah Rhame-Brock is wise beyond her years. In "How to Be A Happy Medium," Moriah has taken very complex spiritual issues and made them easy enough to understand even for those who have not done their "spiritual homework." Moriah's goal with this book is to provide people with the avenues to "hear" their own messages from the spirits on the other side (loved ones, angels, guides, pets, etc.). Moriah says, "There are no secrets to become a medium...It is an ability given to all at birth." This book tells us how to "remember" this communication, and that each individual will have their own method of communicating.
I recommend the book for many reasons. First, you just need to look at the cover. Like no other book you've found in the spiritiualty section of your bookstore and it is a true reflection of the writer. Quite unlike any other spirituality writer I've read before, and I have read many, many books in this area. And, also because the content is informative and quite refereshing. And, last but not least, the workbook exercises and meditations will put you on your way to "hearing" the other side. Just think of how excited our spiritual guides will be to actually get messages through. I know mine will be - once I get through all of my lessons.
A recommended read from a truly beautiful gift from God - Moriah.
Rating: Summary: How to Be a Happy Medium Review: This was a very well written book. I enjoyed the easy step by step directions on learning to connect with the spritual world. The book is not written in a "mystifying" fashion, rather a rational explanation of all the questions you might have when actually visiting with a medium . Further, the reader is encouraged to open themselves to learn more about themselves and their own spirituality.
Rating: Summary: Refreshing Review: While I'm all for the New Age movement, I often find my gag reflexes engaging when perusing much of the literature. The field of mediumship has its fair share of saccharine, highly polished showman and I don't blame people for reeling from much of what is offered in the way of "intstruction" for developing greater intuitive or psychic abilities.
However, Rhame-Brock's contribution is quite a departure from much of the self-indulgent, overly mysterious, esoteric clap chap that is floating around. In her book, she takes a grounded approach and through humor and clear, concise language makes the prospect of communicating with invisible sources of intelligence seem not only possible, but fun! I highly recommend this, not only to those interested in contacting their spirit guides, but also to anybody interested in expanding their perception or consciously evolving.
