Summary: Not easy to swallow
Review: Browne and "Francine" certainly take pains to portray God as all loving and good. This I can agree with, but the idea that "dark entities" of the world, the trouble-makers, have no spirit guides of their own is hard to understand. There are a few more confusing moments here...

Francine mentions that there are many miscarriages becuase the soul within the baby has figured out that her/his parent has taken a wrong turn making it more difficult for the soul to fulfill its' life theme. Sylvia then asks if abortion is "okay." Francine states rather clearly that a soul would never enter a baby who would eventually get aborted. Sylvia isn't fooling this reader. Sylvia seems to imply that abortion should carry no regrets since, after all, a soul would never enter such a baby, right?

While the book presents some valid, well explained points, the questions Sylvia presents are so disconnected from the previous question, you wonder if she took years to put this book together. And her spirit guide, Francine, sounds a bit arrogant on occasion. She refers to human beliefs as "so ridiculous." Maybe they are, and in some ways I agree, but there are many ways to express opinion, and calling a readers ideas "so ridiculous" is too judgmental for a spirit who claims not to judge at all.

Anyone interested in an honest, more entertaining take on spirit should definitely read "Conversations With God" by Neale Donald Walsch.

Summary: God, Creation and Tools for Life
Review: Having read literally hundreds of books on spirituality, having been a 30-year student of metaphysics, I have come across all sorts of beliefs and attitudes about God and Creation. So, when I picked up this book...I was somewhat expecting to have another mildly interesting book. Much to my pleasure I have found this book to be absolutely refreshing in it's approach to understanding the Mother-Father-God. The first thing that comes to mind when I search for something to describe this book, is that it is tremendously positive and uplifting. It does go against the patriarchal religious views...and offers a perspective about a Loving God, and a Loving Mother God. The style of writing is straightforward, and yet I find it wise to read it slowly and carefully to digest the significance of things shared in the book by Sylvia Browne and her guide Francine. It seems timeless in it's message, and for those who doubt that 'a spirit guide' exists, let alone channels such profound information through and to Sylvia, one need simply let the information resonate within one's soul... as though re-awakening long forgotten knowledge, about love, peace, joy, the right to be happy, a loving Mother-Father-God, while challenging and exposing the hypocrisy of 'the church' and patriarchal rule. This has to be one of the best books I have read on "spiritual wisdom" in years....and I truly am grateful that I had the inner guidance to buy this book! I find myself marking passages in the book for re-reading. "God, Creation and Tools for Life" will be one of my favored treasures in my library, for years to come. I higly recommend this book!

Summary: Beyond 5 stars!
Review: I am seeing a pattern with Sylvia and Francine, as each book gets published, the book itself gets more and more better. I was hooked with Adventures of a Psychic and bought all I could find on Sylvia Browne. When I read To The Other Side and Back, i cant tell you how my soul lept! It was the confirmation of the God and the Home that I always knew inside me and finally someone put that esoteric feeling into a written word. However I didnt think she could do it again, honestly. By the end of the first chapter of this book, God Creation, and Tools For Life, I cried tears of rejuvination and also tears of comfort. This book reinforced the majority of my beliefs about the Other Side and it is written in a clever dialogue format instead of the typical paragraph style. This book allows you to meet Francine and Sylvia as 2 seperate entities instead of the usual singular entity in her previous works. Many people might object to what Sylvia says, but before I knew about Ms Browne I always called myself a truth seeker and little did I know thats exactly what Francine calls those who seek knowledge ie "gnostic". Of course I didnt agree with it all, there were sections I knew werent completely "right" However I do know that none of us are perfect, if we were we wouldnt be on earth and that sylvia wrote to the best of her knowledge. All of us are on individualized spiritual growth "tracts", some are higher some are lower, thats all. I highly recommend this to all people who want an open view about the place I call Home and to the God that really exists not the religious cold patriarchal god.

Summary: An eye opener
Review: I was blown away reading this book. I have become a voracious reader, gobbling up everything I can get my hands on to grow spiritually. This book is easy to read, and Sylvia, along with her spirit guide, takes time to help the reader understand exactly the point she is trying to make. If anyone desires answers, or feels what they have been told is not the entire truth, I would suggest this book. It's fast to read and a pleasure.

Summary: Bible Thumpers Listen Up
Review: If you believe in the bible, then you must not be so close minded that you don't realize that not all books of the bible are contained in the bible. The Catholic religion has admitted to taking out books due to "the people" not needing the info. The important left out books contained info. on after life's and psycic abilites. Go and rent the movie DOGMA and learn that is the idea of God that keeps the world alive not the belief. A belief such as you have is dangerous and keeps you close minded. Our god loves all people and is NOT judging the way you think he will. Good luck and I hope your mind opens up And you stop judging others like YOUR BIBLE says not to. Think about that.

Summary: Wonderful for Anyone Seeking Knowledge of Spirit
Review: Sylvia Browne, along with her spirit guides, has written a spiritual book that goes far in the explanation of God, Heaven, Love, Evil and man's purpose for living. Not only does Sylvia explain things but she provides real tools that help one to live more positively and productively in this world. Sylvia's book has been a stairstep for me that fit very compatibly with prior books I've read such as the Conversations with God series. The book may have themes that seem too advanced or outlandish for some to grasp, depending on where a person is on their path; however, Sylvia suggests that you take what you like. In fact, she cautions against accepting anything without testing it's truth for yourself first. If something doesn't work for you, put it on your mental shelf for a later time when you are ready to revisit that idea. I found my second reading of the book after a year or more to be further enlightening. I'm still struggling with the idea of "dark entities" being closed off from the light but her explanation of evil's purpose in the world leads me to believe that the dark entities do have a heavenly purpose for all of us. She does say that ALL spirits will rejoin God eventually, leaving an opening for reformation/reclamation of ALL souls.

I salute Sylvia for writing this and other of her books. She has added immeasurably to the world's betterment simply by sharing this knowledge.

Summary: Makes you think in the right direction
Review: This book has helped me help myself aquire knowledge. But if you're like me, you must read it over and over to get all the knowledge from it. The reason is because this book "speaks" extensively about the infinite and metaphysical. If you have ever studied the metaphysical, you know how long a process it is to understand for many people, because frankly humankind is finite and physical. For instance, it's not easy for us to understand that there was never "beginning." So keep this in mind whenever reading this book. It is great! from:ghostdman@yahoo.com
