Summary: Those on a spiritual path will want to read this book.
Review: After reading this book and sharing it with a few friends we all agreed that it really hit home for us. I am now purchasing another book as a gift for a friend who also found it very inspiring.

Summary: Spirituality Explored...
Review: Having read Jan Spiller's "New Moon Astrology" in the past (and finding it very interesting), this was another incentive to look closely at the information presented in this book.

Self-fulfillment means different things to individuals, so I am interested to see what Jan and Karen have to offer - directions to self-fulfillment for all that read this book seems a bit of a large undertaking!

Part One of Spiritual Astrology looks at the planets, signs and houses and was written by Ms Spiller. Some of the information here can be found in many basic astrology books but the author interprets the various symbolism in a spiritual context. The meaning of Moon and Saturn signs in regards to past lives and karma are explored in this section too.

Prenatal eclipses in regards to life path and destiny are explored in Part Two. Karen McCoy researched the work in this chapter for four years and used more than four thousand birth charts during this time! Her research looked at the difference between the solar and lunar eclipse and what they meant to the individual. She also discovered another aspect of eclipses that may interest readers who have children. Jan Spiller contributed to this part of the book too.

After reading the material that relates to my own birth data, I came to the conclusion that this book has a lot to offer. The information covered much ground and gave me a lot to think about. The meaning prenatal solar and lunar eclipses in the twelve zodiac signs were explored in detail, as well as looking at the placement of eclipses in the various houses of the birth chart.

The mathematical tables in Part Three cover the positions of the Sun through to Pluto, and of course the solar and lunar eclipses. A full computer service for calculating detailed eclipse and birth chart information is also offered.

In summary Spiritual Astrology has a lot to offer for the reader who is interested in understanding their life (and past lives!) in a broad perspective. The information is easy to read and clear - I would highly recommend this title to the reader who has a beginner's level of astrological understanding and an interest in reincarnation and karma..

Summary: insightful but judgemental
Review: I FOUND THIS BOOK INSIGHTFUL AND HELPFUL,BUT AT THE SAME TIME JUDGEMENTAL. I REALLY APRECIATED THE APPROACH JOYCE LEVINE TAKES IN HER BOOK A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO ASTROLOGICAL INTERPTRETATION AND IN HER CASSETTE TAPES ON PLUTO,NEPTUNE,URANUS,SATURN AND JUPITER(THEY COMBINE MEDITATION WITH INSIGHT INTO PLANETARY CYCLES).SHE BELIEVES A PERSON'S ASTROLOGICAL CHART ISN'T GOOD OR BAD--IT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS--LIKE ONE'S GENETIC PATTERN.

Summary: Top of the Line!
Review: In my metaphysical practice, I am always on the alert for the most profound yet readable material in helping people lift their level of consciousness. Spiritual Astrology is the finest there is for the professional metaphysician/psychotherapist. It is absolutely psychologically sound which is what I am always looking for. The Solar and Lunar Prenatal Eclipses material is very detailed and provides the quaerent with precise understanding of whether she is working one's path from the negative or positive approach and offers in addition levels of consciousness to help one identify at what level he is working that path! It is meant for the serious inquirer, whether beginner or advanced. An absolute must for the serious student of conscious living.

Review: Karen McCoy is an old friend of mine and I've heard her speak on the subject many times over the years. The sections on 'Pre-Natal Eclipses' is priceless information and should be read many times over even by professional astrologers like myself. This is very valuable information.

Summary: Look at your Self & judge
Review: This book is in my top 10 books in my library. Her explanations for the solar & lunar eclipses just prior to birth are detailed explanations for our talents and lessons in life. Whether we follow the positive or negative path, she pinpoints the influences with supreme insight. Also, use this book to look up someone you're going to have a meeting with, and you'll find you get everywhere fast.
