Rating: 2 stars
Summary: A very cryptic read
Review: Although I am sure Cragg has some very interesting things to say, he doesn't know how to say them. I have read my share of cerebral and professorial books, but Cragg's style leaves *much* to be desired. His roundabout and cryptic style of writing make for an extremely difficult read. If you can persist through the maze of words, there is substance here, but it is a daunting read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Understanding
Review: Cragg provides Islam with a long overdue, beautifully considered "response" to its expectations in regard to a reaction to the life and ministry of Muhammad. Cragg has an excellent grasp on the Quran and its message, as well as an understanding of the ethics and teachings of Muhammad. Further, Cragg is able to respond from within the domain of a Christian believer. All Christians who think they are supposed to have an opinion on Muhammad have three basic choices: 1)They can adopt the first pack of lies, slanders and distortions that will eagerly be handed to them. 2) They could actually study the subject they want to have an opinion on. 3) They can read Cragg's book.
