Summary: Linda is a .................'GURU'
Review: *

It's A Wonderful book & pretty Intresting too.First I thought this is some kind of Astrology book.I thanked god later that it is not.It was much much more than Astrology .There are things Beyond Astrology.

Some things you will feel Unbelievable but think of it this way, before 10 years there were things around you, you believed not possible but they are very common to you now. Before 100 years it was believed that humans will never able to fly but we do today.

You have to keep your Mind Open While you read this book, this is not an 'Ordinary' fiction book.

Each chapter is unique within itself,Topics covered are Great.I liked 'Deja Vu'The Laws Of Karma,Forgotten Rainbows & Physical Immortality.

Its Very Confusing That The women Who Spoke About Immortality Is Dead Now.Even I was very much Confused with it & trying to Figure it out. There is A reason behind it.

I believe linda Is a GURU( I Know I am Using 'Is'because she only left her Physically,I feel she is between us,Watching & Guiding us)She was here to teach us Something It Was her Life Purpose. She Chose it before Coming On Earth. After That purpose is fulfiled there is no use to live in physical body.I am very much sure about this.

After all she is in our heart motivating us toward the new unexplored world.............to Explore It.

Summary: Essential Knowledge for the Esoteric Student
Review: Approximately ten years ago, I checked this book out from the library and when I browsed the contents I was spooked and couldn't read it. I now know that "spooked" feeling comes when I am not ready to inherit such knowledge. In other words, I was not ready for this book. About six years ago, I read Star Signs in it's entirety and refer to it often when encountering life's mysteries. It is deep for the most part - one should not begin his or her spiritual journey with this book. Some prior knowledge of astrology and numerology is helpful. Goodman will educate you on your personal colors, herbs and foods that are good for your body, careers that you would be happy with, karma, past lives, and lexigrams. This book explains why some people can see ghosts and others cannot. Linda also touched on a quirky town in Colorado, Cripple Creek, that matched her eccentric personality (I had to visit this place after reading the book). There is so much information here - you will be able to refer back to it for your entire life! The bottom line is, Star Signs - written in 1987 - was way before it's time, however, Linda died five years ago so the knowledge had to be transmitted prematurely. I hope there is a resurgence of this book in the near future.

Summary: yes what did happen to Sally
Review: I am currently reading Star signs - I am heavyly into numerology at the moment and find it very interesting what Linda has to say about that. It is a heavy book and it will take a long time to digest it so I am reading bits by bits - and really enjoying it. I am also curious to know what did happen to her daughter Sally...that is the only problem about this interesting book - LG sometimes leaves out a bit of information or wanders off, where it is sometimes difficult to follow her.. But a great book

Summary: Serious Readers....
Review: I feel I have to comment after reading the negative comment entitled "Serious readers, please avoid this book, June 12, 2002 Reviewer: A reader from New Delhi, India". I have read all of Linda Goodman's books and I have to say that if you are a "serious" reader you will read whatever interests you, and hopefully that will include all of Linda's books. I don't believe in calling those of us who enjoy Linda a "non-serious" reader. In fact, I don't believe in judgment of any kind, just opinions and feelings.

If this book sounds interesting to you - please do read it. In the beginning of all of Linda's books you will find her comments as such, " However, I do not ask - nor do I even expect - any of you to regard my concepts as YOUR truth, unless they should happen to agree with your own personal enlightenment and private convictions. Partial truth - the seeds of wisdom - can be found in many places. The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written....especially in art, music and poetry...and, above all, in Nature. But REAL Truth can be found in one place only - in every man's and woman's communion with an eternal Source of hidden Knowledge within - which each individual must seek and find for himself or herself."

Linda is not about black-and-white, or textbook right. Her life was dedicated to the sharing of her wealth of knowledge (and personal experience) that it might help others, or at least lead them down the right path - to remembering, what they already Knew.

Summary: down right awful
Review: If you like fluffy bunny new age crap, then this book is for you. However if you like reality then overlook this book. The part that made me the angriest was when she said that it was okay to kill plants for food, but not animals, and that we didnt need protein in our diet. If you want to eat,you have to kill something to eat, unless you want to destroy your body by putting artificial substances in it. This book was so awful that I couldnt even finish it.

Summary: AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT
Review: The late Linda Goodman (she died at the age of seventy) wrote in an amusing and informative manner which was more fun than scientific. The chapter on numerology was fascinating as it gives certain herbs, colours, foods and jewelry which are beneficial to a "5" person, for instance.I have yet to try her theory of ingesting orange and yellow foods in order to lose weight, but a friend of mine swears it works! This is Goodman's ultimate collection of New Age wisdom and it's downright fun to read: highly recommended!

Summary: Serious readers, please avoid this book
Review: To all students/seekers of any of the occult sciences...please avoid this book. The crap written in this book doesn't stand up to the established facts. I'm a Indian and Hindu and I've been studying some of the ancient Vedic texts on the matter. So please note: [1] She's got Sign-Planetary assignments wrong.. e.g. Scorpion is ruled by Pluto, wrong both Mars and Pluto comes into picture. [2] Numbering systems ... Does she has any idea where 0 (zero) was invented ? Not by some god forsaken cavemen as she tries to say...but by scholars in India around 2-5 A.D., read some of the Albert Einsteins quote on the matter. Furthermore, the Chaldean system is much younger than Egyptian and Vedic ones. [3] Avatars...Another piece of crap...Avatar in Sanskrit means Supreme Lord incarnate, they live like normal mortals and die...there are 10 in Hindu mythology...9 have appeared ( last one being Buddha )...10th awaited., she tries to tell she met one. [4] Immortality...Is there any religion or sect on this face of earth which preches immortality ? Cycle of Life and Death is an universal theme.

Finally, for practitioners...Western astrology is very accurate in character analysis but fails in event prediction. Things are opposite in Indian astrology, my horoscope(Indian/Vedic) is bang accurate about the events I've faced in my life but it falters when describing personality type.
The reason is Western system is based on Sun signs, but does not take into account the axial displacement of the earth over thousands of years, so resultant calculations gets inaccurate, whereas the Indian system uses Moon sign and planetery positions in the birth chart is very accurate.
