Rating: Summary: Beautiful Review: I enjoyed this book. I loved all the myths and pictures. The only thing I didn't like about it, is most of the chapters are for the months, therefore you should only read those chapters in a particular month, so you can't really read the book straight through, but it is still a great book. Great rituals and practices. Wonderful recipes. Blessed Be!
Rating: Summary: A Creative, Fun , Informational Book! Review: I have had Moon Magick for a few years and I always pick it up and read some of it again. It has great information on the Lunar Cycle and Moon Goddesses. The back of the book has a very useful list of several goddesses from around the world. It also has great recipes, crafts and lore for every month of the lunar year. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a fun informational book.
Rating: Summary: Right up my Kitchen Witch Alley Review: I love this book. It appeals to my kitchen witch nature. There is more than moon magick in this book, it is more like an almanac. Besides the information like different names for the moons, there are Correspondences (something I found truly useful), Old Sayings & Lore, Recipes, Crafts, Myths, and Rituals. A group of us just did Conway's Bast Ritual (from the April moon) and found it to be great fun! I think this book makes each Esbat seem like a celebration, more special. I found it fun, see if you don't as well.

Rating: Summary: This book is very Useful! Review: I thought that this book was full of really great reciepes, and other craft like ideas for any pagan or any one else interested in the history of certain dates and sachets and such for better dreams or more restful sleep or etcetra. It is a must have when your a beginning wiccan and don't know much about a certain time of year. And also great for the old timers of the religion to look up some refreshing, quick, not deep thought, oops that sabbatt seems to snuck up on me ideas.I say a great buy and well put together.
Rating: Summary: A little bit of everything Review: Once again Conway has given us a book about many diffrent culturals. This one is the lunar aspect of that. I love how it is set up on a moon month system allowing one to feel as if they were traveling the year as they are reading the text. I love the suggested rutuals for each month too. A great guide for beginers of moon magick. A must have for any Conway fan.
Rating: Summary: Pretty Great Review: The reason this book is cool is because there is something new and fun to do every month. Lots of recipes and crafts w/ the dates of the old rituals and feasts and an occasional myth thrown in. I would recommend it to any wiccan or anyone else who wants to buy it!
Rating: Summary: one of conway's better books Review: this book has the chapters go by each full moon, and each chapter tells about gods and goddesses, spells, rituals and crafts. this book is very useful and it is one of conway's best. alot better than her celtic and norse magic
Rating: Summary: HEAVY ON RITUALS, LIGHT ON INFORMATION Review: this book is just another example of what makes it hard to find any real books for the pagan/wiccan religion. sorting through book after book written for middle age women who are trying to steer away from christianity but not too far and never defy it. it has decent historical and mythological reviews but other than that it is just page after page of recipes for the different seasons. if you want a REAL book about the pagan/wiccan religion DONT buy this one.
Rating: Summary: Understanding myth and lore behind the moon Review: This book is seperated into months and from there tells important days to different cultures, goddesses associated with that month as well as spells and recipes for that month. Also gives the name of each month's full moon as well as explains the blue moon. An excellent reference book for any witch to have on hand.
