Summary: Drawing upon hundreds of out-of-body experiences
Review: An out-of-body experience is a kind of astro projection where the subject seems to leave their physical body and forays into a real of expanded consciousness, viewing their environment with an awareness that is both familiar and strange for extended periods of time. Preston Dennett began his explorations beyond the physical body some twenty years earlier in an attempt to contact his deceased mother. Drawing upon hundreds of out-of-body experiences (OBE) lasting anywhere from a few seconds to several hours, Dennett now shares his experiences and provides an instructive "how to" manual for others to go out-of-body themselves, while maintaining control and an awareness for extended periods of time. Out-Of-Body Exploring: A Beginner's Approach is a unique and enthusiastically recommended addition to personal reading lists and Metaphysical Studies reference collections.

Summary: Highly Satisfied... Get this book...
Review: As a researcher of out-of-body exploration for going on 10 years, I can say this book is the most comfortable, the most friendly, the most enjoyable, and the most refreshingly dynamic out-of-body book I've ever read. Preston Dennett in his `Out-of-Body Exploring' removes all the fluff. He's not writing to sound like some `guru' of OBE. He's not writing to complicate the phenomenon into a maelstrom of theory and tongue twisting concepts to seem deep and so ahead of everyone else. He's a person like us who studied, applied himself, and hence MASTERED OBE, and in his book `Out-of-Body Exploring' he shares journal entries showing a range of experiences from his first stumbling out of body blind as a bat, to traveling hundreds of miles in seconds, to meeting the deceased, to reaching planes and dimensions of light, energy, and bliss. He is so precise that he illustrates points it takes other authors chapters to elucidate. And he shares his journals and his points in a way that makes me feel, that makes me KNOW, that I and everyone else can do it too!!! His OBE techniques section is so precise and to the point that he elucidates and makes understandable techniques of getting out of body that takes other authors dozens and hundreds of pages to illustrate. You can be getting out of body TODAY with the inspiration of this book, with the inspiration of Preston Dennett. I did the day I finished reading it. I love this book. I'm sure you will too. Thank you Preston Dennett.

Summary: An excellent account of OBE's
Review: I ws prepared to be disappointed since I have read almost 200 books on this topic. But this was really excellent and his down to earth explanations, experiences and conjectures were very readable and helpful. His experiences matched some of my own which is always good to read in another's account.Thoroughly recommended!

Summary: The most enjoyable and refreshing OBE book I've read yet!
Review: This book is great for anyone who is interested in OBE's. It's not only very informative but it is written on a very personal, sincere level. Preston Dennett writes as if you are in the middle of a good conversation. Moreover, it is the only OBE book to ever make me laugh. There are some very humorous descriptions about some of his experiences while out of body. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in projection.
