Review: "Evocation of Spirits (The Truth About Series)" by Donald Kraig is an excellent petite book that contains 64 pages. This book is directed toward the novice magician that has little or no previous experience in evocation. Donald Kraig gives a terse but nice explanation of how to construct the "Triangle of Art (aka Triangle of Manifestation)." The rituals that are included in this small book consist of mostly Golden Dawn creations e.g. LBRP (Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram), Opening of the Watchtowers (not included however the author refers the reader to seek out & use this ritual), etc. There are a few nice chants to call or evoke the entity you desire to contact. However these chants are laced with God & other religious dogma. The reader should feel free to use chants or evocations from their background. Donald Kraig also leaves a few sigils in the book of four entities Bael, Amon, Buer, & Botis. Along with the sigils provided are a few sentences about each entity. Overall the book "Evocation of Spirits" by Donald Kraig does not delve into profound philosophies but it does provide very basic information on how to evoke spirits. If you're looking for a small book that will fit in your pocket & get to the beef of the information fast then this is the book for you. But if you're looking for a book that will play around with philosophies & the many types of spirit summoning then this book will not help you on your journey for orphic knowledge.

Review: He has done it again. Donald Michael Craig's other book, Modern Magick, was one of the most helpful books that I've come across in a while. With this book, it approaches the often-unapproachable subject of evocation in a clear, concise manner. However, the only thing that bothers me is his obvious bias toward the Judeo-Christian way of thinking.

Review: This book is soooo great there are no words i can say that are bad about the book. The book is small, but, loaded..and i mean loaded with so much info that i was truly impressed. I wasn't really ready to know so much in something so small. Another good thing is its price of the book..hey! you can't beat that. Bravo to Mr.Kraig.

Review: well when i got this book i couldn't believe that this little booklet actually had any effective information but when i read it i changed my opinion, this book is a complete guide to the evocation of spirits into a black mirror, however some of the instructions are not very clear for example place the mirror in the triangle & then position the candles in such a way that the seer can see her/him self how can this be accomplished if the mirror is facing upwards & the seer is in a circle??? other that this the booklet is very good & i highly recommend it. one more thing, the seer can be both male or female and this kind of evocation can be practiced by a single person too, contrary to what the book says. keep practicing until you succeed.
