Summary: PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT IS TRUE
Review: THIS BOOK IS WELL WRITTEN FOR ITS TIME & FOLLOWS THE MOVIE PRETTY WELL. I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY GOOD. I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND THE MONTAUK PROJECT BY PETER MOON & PRESTON B. NICHOLS AS A FOLLOW UP TO THIS BOOK (AS WELL AS THE MOVIE W/ MICHAEL PARE) THIS BOOK WAS GREAT!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: An entertaining book . . .
Review: This is a book about an alleged Navy experiment to make a ship disappear during WWII. According to the legend, the Navy, Einstein, and a few other geniuses rendered a ship completely invisible and during the experiment the ship supposedly 'teleported' from one place to another. This, according to an eccentric fellow named Carlos Allende (aka Carl Allen), had some rather unfortunate effects on the ship's crew. Some crew members died, others went insane, and some 'melted' with the ship when it rematerialized, according to Carlos.

Anyway, it doesn't actually prove that any event like this really took place, unless you're willing to take the word of a few anonymous people and a nutty guy named Carl/Carlos.

It's an interesting work of fiction, in my opinion.
