Rating: Summary: Invisibility & Levitation : A How To Guide To Personal Perfo Review: An excellent book! A virtual bible for the invisible practitioner. Commander X thoroughly outlines, with easy to follow examples, the step by step processes needed to become invisible. It will take some practice however, it took me a couple of weeks to master, so if you dont see results right away don't fret, keep trying. Your efforts will be rewarded handsomely. This book is not for the laymen however, those of you less seasoned in the art of becoming invisible may want to start with Jack Hoffs book "invisibility for dumby's". You may also want to read "Casper the Freindly Ghost", because you should never use these powers for evil purposes. The last thing society needs is a bunch of mean spirited ghosts roaming about.
Rating: Summary: Please don't buy it if you aren't looking for a life story. Review: Basically over 3/4 of the book are about this guys life experiences if you want to levitate yourself alone don't get this book because all it does is say how to levitate the table (Didn't work in my case) and yogic levitation (it sounded so stupid I didn't even try it and It goes more in depth with Invisibility (I've tried every way yet it still doesn't work)mabye I'm wrong or something but if you're a kid then DON'T I REPEAT DON'T GET THIS BOOK!!!!! I rated it a 2 because it didn't not tell you how to do it but it also is mostly a life story and for me it didn't work I don't know mabye it will work for you but all I'm saying is that it didn't work for me so try looking at books not by Commander X I don't even have a way to research the guy geez!
Rating: Summary: Excellent book on the metaphysical arts. Review: Commander X's new book: Invisibility and Levitation is an extremely detailed look at two of mankinds most compelling mysteries. Few realize the long history of people who could levitate either at will or unexpectedly. This book also deals with the art of invisibility and some methods that have been handed down over the generations. This book is a must for anyone interested in the ancient art of metaphysics.
Rating: Summary: What are you people thinking Review: I dont see how any of you people can believe anything this guy is saying. People think that if some twenty year old D&D geek says he is a retired commander its true, is this weird to only me? You cant just become invisible from reading a book. I only received that book because of a shipping switch and I cant believe anybody would buy it, other than a pactical joke. I highly advise you to pass on it and choose somethig a little more intellectually suitable.
Rating: Summary: A good book Review: I give this book a 4 because it dosen't explain how to get back when you in the invisibility mode and it dosen't tell you how to actual leviate.
Rating: Summary: Invisibility & Levitation : A How To Guide To Personal Perfo Review: Just imagine. Being able to become invisible and walk around town exploring the world without being seen. Imagine being able to levitate off the ground and become as light as a feather. What fun! What a leap for mind kind! Well, keep on imagining. All your Peter Pan and Invisible Man fantasies will end here. You will not find any so called secrets in this book. The only thing that will vanish is your money when you buy this lame book. The majority of this book is full of antedotal evidence. They offer "yogi flying" and "table floating" as their only real evidence of leviation (aka yogic hoping and the old classic floating table trick I learned when I was in the 3rd grade in a magic book I checked out from the library). I guarentee that anyone who buys this book will not levitate. Their are no so called hidden secrets encodeed in the book as other suggest (to throw off the novices) who haven't "earned" the knowledge to levitate. Give me a break. If you truly wish to leviate off the ground (or give the illlusion of doing it, a la David Blaine) there are many good instuctional levitation videos at your local magic store or e-bay. These videos have information on how to make someone look as if they are levitating (via the laws of physics and human ingenuity). Who ever this so called Commander X is probably laughing his way to the bank. If you wish to throw your money away on this book, please send it to me instead. Better yet, I suggest that you buy some toilet paper. At least toilet paper has some usufullness. Your Pal, Peter Pan, Neverland
Rating: Summary: Invisibility for beginners Review: Like this book says: "Wouldn't be nice to be invisible?" I say YES. I want to be invisible. There are not a lot of books on the market that even dare to take on this subject. That is why I am glad that Commander X has done it. Some people have complained that this book doesn't have enough easy methods to become invisible, that is wrong. This book has a lot more ways than in other books. People just don't want to take the time to ready their minds and bodies for such a difficult task. Commander X has taken a lot of time and effort to find a lot of useful information on these subjects and I think that anyone interested in this kind of thing will enjoy this book and learn something from it.
Rating: Summary: The number one book on Invisibility and Levitation Review: The people who have given this book bad reviews have obviously not read it! I have found this book to be fascinating and essential to anyone interested in learning about the history and how-to's of invisibility and levitation. There really is no other book on the market that covers these subjects so well and complete. Of course for those wanting to learn how to become invisible or to levitate it will take practice. But this book covers different methods handed down over the years from many different sources. So pick which works best for you. Buy this book and forget the negative reviews. It is worth it!
Rating: Summary: Now you see me, now you don't! Review: Who would have ever thought that anyone could write a book about invisibility and levitation. Well Commander X has! I thought that this book would be stupid -- but it's not. It is a really well done book with a ton of useful information, history, and fascinating stories of people who have become invisible, or levitated. It is a good example of a far-out sounding book that really delievers.
