Summary: One of the best devotionals ever-and a bargain!
Review: This is a book that has come in and out of my life over and over again because of its ability to quiet my anxious mind and strengthen my weak faith. It is a selection of thoughts from 17th and 18th century spiritual writers from the pietist and quietist traditions. One would never know that, however, since each page still burns with relevancy for any troubled soul. Devotionals come and go but this one has stood the test of time. For 8$, this cannot be beat. You may wonder how you ever got along without it!
