Summary: Forget Expensive Courses and Fancy Certificates--Buy This!
Review: I purchased a paperback copy of this book in 1990, and I have owned it & Loaned it, ever-since. I just wrote a review for a Sylvia Browne book, mentioning how Valuable David St. Clair's book truly is ! However....now, I see it is "out of print." How very Sad.I learned to Astral Travel, by reading this book, before joining an organization with very expensive books and tests and fancy certificates..... The only thing about the teachings of the org. that was more explanatory of "Astral Travel," was the fact that it alos taught the Mechanics of it all (Physics). However, you can get that information, easily, from Deepak Chopra's "Journey to The Boundless" and his other works. So, SAVE Yourself some Money and buy David St. Clair's Lessons in Easy ESP and some of Deepak's Tape-sets. You will save Tons of money and have Wonderful Results. Organizations will try to inform you that you must do all this in a very complicated manner, with a lot of superfluous rigamarole....but, let's face Reality : You do this, Every Night, when you go to sleep! & Org.s want your hard-earned Cash. If you own this book, you will value it, treasure it & loan it to all your friends in the field of interest. In fact, my copy is on-loan, right now! I just cannot comprehend WHY this book is "out of print!!!" As many others have said, THIS book WORKS !

Review: I read this book several years ago and found myself able totake control of situations I once thought doomed, ruined. This bookdoes everything from help you rest easier at night through color visualization, to unimaginable feats of mental control and balance! BUY THIS BOOK! Summary: Phenomenal in that what it treaches works and works fast!
Review: I saw this book in a bookstore in Atlanta, Ga over 17 years ago in it's first edition. While I had not been impressed with other "How to 'do' psychic stuff" books, and was also under considerable parental pressure not to acquire more (being a young and "impressionable" teen at the time), a cursory read of the text showed what appeared to be quite simple instructions and a fascinating breadth of supposed psychic abilities covered. So, impressed, I snuck up to the counter when my Mom wasnt looking and bought it. As other reviewers have noted, the most amazing fact about this book is that you start seeing results from the moment you put its techniques into practice. You will have some degree of success with everything mentioned in the book, from seeing auras to table tipping. There will be points during practice of the excercises when you make a breakthrough, and your hair will literally stand on end. As one of the most easily accessible texts on psychic abilities I have ever encountered, it is indeed a shame that this text has gone out of print. Having said this, a more widespread reading of the text and practice of the excercises would no doubt make many of the "extraordinary" abilities listed in the book become downright commonplace. The author, and the book, are really that good!

Review: It is a real shame that this book is no longer in print - I buy every used copy I come across to give to friends. This book will change your life. It is an easy read, and the excercises work from the very start. IT IS NOT FILLED WITH THE TYPICAL DRIVEL THAT IS IN MOST PSYCHIC?ESP BOOKS! I agree with a previous reviewer, you will get more out of this book than sever hundred dollars worth of seminars.

Summary: This is the best book if its kind that I've found!
Review: Read all the reviews... but get this book, if you are at all interested in expanding your mental abilities. It is clear, concise, conversationally written, and the directions are easy to follow. No jargon, no aura of mysticism, nothing suggesting that you must be "above and beyond" the rest of mankind to make any or all of these skills work for you... THE FIRST TIME YOU TRY THEM! They are amazing, and most importantly, they are effective, and efficient. Find yourself a copy of this book... it is truly a must-have, or, at the very least, a must-read!

Summary: Interesting but brief.
Review: The book is straightforward written in a slight "sassy 70's" lingo. One of the core chapters on the Subconscious David has you commanding your subconscious as your servant with no intentionality of it's own. His description might be valid and even better for this process of instructing the "little man". The core practice is the "secret" of bringing in the "Cosmic Forces". I tried this exercise with and without saying the
lines and felt the same physical sensations (not judging just observing). One interesting thing about that practice was
the mentally saying things while holding your breath. Osho in "The Book of Secrets" mentions holding of the breath
as the most potent method of focusing one's attention. Maybe David has tuned in on that? The only other ESP book I've read is by Jane Roberts.

Summary: The BEST Book For RESULTS in The Occult Arts
Review: This book literally saved the life of a loved one in "impossible"
circumstances twice! Thats only 2 of the things that its done
for me. An amazing little book by a man who's been President of
a few different American psychic societies and has a way of coming across which is so down to earth and easy to approach that your level of education doesn't matter. I think thats great. I also think its amazing the number of books on Amazon and [another store] on this subject that don't get as nearly as many reviews from folks telling you how THEY got specific results from the use of this little book. I've read many of St. Clair's books and was inspired to create a FREE MSN (microsoft network) community dedicated to him and his books. There are many books out there more sophisticated and prestigious but few that will get you the RESULTS you want as quick or as successfully. That's a rare talent. Thanks David!!

Review: This is THE book to own if you are into Occultism, New Age, Tai Chi, Hypnosis, Cabala, Etc., or anything remotely religous or mystical. This is one of the few books on this subject that actually WORKS! If you're tired of occult books that don't work, buy this one. Forget Crowley,LaVey,Blavatsky, The Golden Dawn, Wicca,and all the other useless stuff.If you want results instead of useless theories, this one works. Don't let the sappy title fool you, this is a powerful book!
