Summary: A message to mankind
Review: As a radio astronomer I consider The Urantia Papers to be a genuine message to mankind from personalities of the Universe. This conviction has only become stronger over time as I have seen more and more facts from various fields of Human knowledge become confirmed by science. I have made research concerning a multitude of facts contained in the Papers since the 1960:ies. Nobody seems to be fully aware of the method by which these Papers originated in the 1930:ies, but there are different theories in existence. No human author has been found. Perhaps the following sentence from the Papers is significant:

"But revelation originates neither a science nor a religion; its function is to co-ordinate both science and religion with the truth of reality."

To those interested in a wider view I recommend the full revelation containing 2097 pages. The text is highly intellectual, well written and contains large amounts of information in matters of a fundamental nature. You might however need several years to penetrate and assimilate the contents.

Review: If you truly seek, then you shall find. If you have your mind truly open, then God will provide.
JANR is an edition taken from the 4th section of the Urantia Book, a mind-blowing cosmic journey of faith and hope.
This book is suitable for those who have been intimidated by the wording and size of the Urantia Book. There have been many souls brought into the Light by starting with Part 4 and later reading other parts.
Not everyone will agree with me here. That is fine. But, those folks must realize that there are many paths to the same Source.
The Life and Teachings of Jesus represents the finest account of our Master ever recorded. Read it and you will never be the same again.

Review: Jesus: A New Revelation is the most amazing book I have ever read, and I consider myself an avid reader. I used to think all religious people needed some crutch to get through life, couldn't face reality and were just hooked into conventional traditions without much contimplation of alternatives. I had no faith before I read this book. Not that I was looking very hard, but I never found anything else in the vast sea of new age offerings, nor in the traditional scriptures to turn me away from the practical, scientific, intellectual, humanistic atheism I had evolved in my life. That is, until I read this book which tells the fascinating day to day story of Jesus' life and teaching.

This is a living story, wonderfully captivating, thrilling, and real. Jesus was born, raised, and died a Jew, but he gives hope, joy and inspiration to peoples of all faiths. Christians may have traditionalized him past the point of recognition...I dare say, this book may not even appeal to fundamentalist Christians who have no room in their hearts for growth. This is a book for people who are evolving (or discovering) their multi-facited faith...for whom faith is living.

Don't believe me, read it for yourself and decide for yourself. This is not a 5 star book, it is a 10 star book!

Review: This book, the fourth part of the book called, The URANTIA Book,
stands on its own in linguistic merit, and epochal content. This restatement of the life and teachings of Jesus will appeal to ANY sincere truth-seeker. Safe in its presentation since it does not seek to solicit support for any dogmatic nor religious affiliation, in fact, it steepens your own personal convictions, this work has incredible mind and character enhancing ability, according to the personal willingness of the reader. Your own spirit of truthfulness will cause you to fall in love with the Jesus which is wonderfully and powerfully portrayed in this book, if that is your desire. This is the only book I have EVER read over and over and over! Enjoy.

Review: This is a well packaged presentation of The Life and Teachings of Jesus, suitably abridged from part IV of the Urantia Book for those more comfortable in a parochial context where Jesus lay entombed in a human organization bearing his 'banner' but little of his personal faith.

Review: This is one of the most amazing, enthralling, engaging, delightful, exciting and endearing books I have ever read! This is the story of Jesus that only the angels themselves could have written. Indeed, the claim is that they did write this book. They were the witnesses to Jesus' earthly life, and they tell of his life and teachings in a way that will melt your heart and open it up for the greatest joy on earth--having a personal relationship with our father in heaven. Whether you have ever had even the slightest question or a burning desire to know more about who Jesus was, you will find more in this book than you can possibly imagine. So many questions are answered; you will be richly rewarded.

This is the story of a vivid, strong, thoughtful, courageous Jesus who sees himself as a teacher, a feminist, a friend, even a confidant to all those who choose to join his circle. You will experience his childhood, translations of his amazing lessons and conversations, his advocacy for women, the many adventures in his life (untold in bible stories), and read more inspiring words than you have ever read in any other book. There is no book I can recommend more.

I know people from all faiths who love this story. Jesus was a Jew his entire life; he inspired all of Christianity; he inspires Moslems. He captured my atheistic heart and turned it inside out.
