Rating: Summary: Very Easy Read Review: Danny's Bed is a nice little piece reflecting upon the haunts of historic Savannah, Ga. It is a quick read but it really pinpoints the issues that Danny's family was facing dealing with spirits of the other world. Having lived in Savannah myself, the book leaves me yearning to go back and walk through the gates at Bonaventure Cemetery again. Nice Read, 4 Stars.

Rating: Summary: Enjoyable but Questionable... Review: I'm not quite sure whether to reccomend the book or not. While I did enjoy reading it, there were several things that made me question some validity. At the time, I just put it off as bad writing -- Al Cobb is no professional writer, nor does he claim to be. In fact, the writing style is an English teacher's worse nightmare at times -- characters being referred to before their introduction into the narrative, simple words and phrases panning out into more complex sentences (VHS could've been said with those three letters rather than the longer sentence used). After speaking to some that were very familiar with the case and knew a lot about the paranormal in general, I'm questioning the book further. As far as the whole Danny's Bed incident goes, it did take place and it had happened long before the Cobb family purchased the bed. The questionable material comes from the aftermath -- the portal that was supposedly opened up in their hallway, inviting friendly ghosts from all over the world into their home, from little knowns looking for a child that's burried under their house to one of Savannah's more famous haunts, Little Gracie. His other book, as well as the supplement at the end of this one, is actually more worth reading as they're made up of short tales of what others in Savannah have told him about the ghostly happenings at their home and work. Anybody that knows Savannah will know that this is merely just a daily routine for many of the residents, so there's little to question about most of those short tales.
Rating: Summary: Scary and true!! Review: This book is very scary and the absolute truth. My brother is the author and he called me almost daily when Danny began haunting my nephew's bed.I was brought to tears when my brother explained how Danny had gone to the other side and talked to our deceased father. He let us know he was alright and that he loved us all. Many things happened in their house and still do, but, believe me, this book is genuine and everything happened just the way it was written.I became a believer when my brother cried over the phone and told me Danny had contacted our dad and had taken his picture out of a bureau drawer and laid it on the bed. This book will send chills down your spine, but it will also warm your heart.
