Summary: This must be the best *normal*, readable, USEFUL, real book
Review: .. about psychic activity in one's life on an 'everyday' basis, I've read. It's one of those books that is so enlightening it's like having a wonderful 3hr conversation with an engaging friend who's mind is marvellous. I really love this book because it approaches the situations of life we all encounter daily and repeatedly and how to see them magically and interpret that magic. Read many esoteric/psychic books. This one is one you shouldn't borrow to anyone.

Review: Having had a few psychic episodes, I wanted to tap into this ability with greater regularity. When I first opened this book, it began with stuff that sounded very New Age to me, which put me off. However, I continued reading, and found that the book is actually very common sense, with good and even practical ideas for psychic growth.

Whether you are New Age, common sense, or even skeptical, I think you will find this book both well written and entertaining. Like others, I'm finding it very useful for the purpose.

Review: I am a psychic myself and felt drawn to explore Andrei Ridgeway's book/guide to increase one's psychic awareness. I was surprized to find that all of my own metaphysical experiences throughout my life were all tucked away into a neat little book that I wished I had been able to buy 10 years ago. I found all of the excercises which I had to discover on my own, to increase my telepathy, were written in a guide of the author's own experiences. I am happy to know a book, which is an open and honest account of true psychic experience is available to millions of people to awaken their own inner guide in a fun and simple way. I also appreciated the author's ability to bring a sense of spirituality into the metaphysical experience which, I don't find in many other psychic books. I found the author to write as though he was actually talking to the reader. This to me is a reader friendly book to help one awaken their own psychic world in a fun and interesting way, as well as open their minds to a fascinating experience. I recommend this book highly to anyone interested in opening their own awareness.

Review: I bought the book based on the reviews and was disappointed as a result.

The material is basic. The chapters have enticing titles but don't really deliver. I don't think reading this book will help you awaken the Seer in you nor the Shaman.

Really, most of what's here is fluff. My feeling is that if he really knows more, he's not telling us...

However, this probably is a good book for those with rudimentary knowledge in the subject matter looking for an intro.

Review: I teach a class called "Enhancing your Psychic Abilities" so I'm always doing research through books and media looking for ways to add quality education, and skills to my class. After I checked this book out of the library...okay, everyone's felt this way... I was tempted to "lose" it - it was so intriguing... had to have it. I have read so many books on the subject, and this is full of valueable knowledge that isn't all fluff. WONDERFUL BOOK... worth every cent and then some!

Review: I'm impressed, and I don't impress easily. I've read zillions of books in the area of spirituality, psychic development, altered states of consciousness, and the like. There's a lot of filler out there. Ridgeway, however, is a wonderful writer--wise, down-to-earth, witty, soulful--and his ideas and exercises are creative. You will not find another book like this in this field. Don't let the material on the cover fool you into thinking this is merely another book about how to read cards or palms: This is a book about how to live more fully. He's after nothing less than the expansion of your soul and the liberation of your wildness! In the process--yes, yes, yes!!!--you will become more psychic! Enjoy!

Review: This book is just wonderful. I have read hundreds of works on the art of personalizing psychic phenomena; this author gets right to the heart of the matter. Being psychic is more than just parlour amusement; it's a responsible, fantastic journey. The author explains many ways that an individual can explore the depths of perception that lay in the field of energy surrounding the reader. He tells you how to "flesh" out the details and decode the meaning. His style is readable and enticing. Worth twice the price of admission!

Summary: One of my favorites. I Love This Book!!
Review: This book is very down to earth and easy to understand and apply to everyday life. I open it up and read a few pages every few months, and enjoy it every time. I think that the world would be a better place if everyone were to pay attention to the principles Andrei outlines. On several occasions I have referenced this book in conversations I've had with friends. I tell them that they have to pay closer attention to certain things in life and seek balance.

Review: this is a very wonderful book which i ever read about psychic development. some books give pages after pages of theory, some give heaps of exercises, but this book balances both. the exercises merge with the text very nicely and are very realistic to do. i love this book and so will you. if you looking for just one book of psyche, this is the one!!
