Summary: respectable
Review: I do enjoy this book and recommend it for any magickal/herbal library. If you like Cunningham's Incense, Oils & Brews (my copy of which is dog-eared, scribbled on and basically falling apart)then I think you'll find this a decent complement, though not as extensive. There are recipes for the inks(bats blood, dragon's blood, dove's blood), base mixes for the bath: bombs, balls & salts, mists, incenses and of course several oils.

Appendices can be confusing
No mention of substitutions (necessary if you're a beginner)
No Bibliography

I actually would give this 3.5 stars but it's not an option. Since I do like the book warts & all, I gave it 4 stars instead.
