Review: Since i am a Northwest transplant and OBSESSED with native american spirituality i was siked to read this book by a Yurok medicine woman. She gives some sorely needed insight into women's moontime ceremonies, herbs (ANGELICA!), and the meaning of some friendly and foelike animal spirits all over the country. Since i already fell in love with Sioux medicine people, my heart sang when she told of meeting Lame Deer and others, participating in a Sundance, and recieving full healing the Lakota way. I ate this book up.
