Review: I have read several "near-death" books over the years, but this is the first one in a long time to leave me feeling happy and hopeful. I appreciated the message that I don't have to be a prophet or do something spectacular to gain a place in heaven. I really liked the description of Jesus Christ in this book, who serves as the author's guide during her journey to the other side. Jesus is shown as very friendly, loving, and understanding of our mortal frailties. I also loved the fact that mothers are honored in heaven, which is a concept our world seems to be quickly forgetting. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to be spiritually uplifted.
