Review: Don't let the size of this commentary fool you into thinking that it is too brief and superficial. Gordon Wenham knows how to pack a tremendous amount of background material, textual issues, commentary and application into a small volume. I recommend reading Wenham's commentary on Leviticus (NICOT) before reading this one. Wenham is a most helpful scholar, especially on the Pentateuchal books. You won't be disappointed with this one!
