Summary: Life changing
Review: Ok, so the title may be a bit cheesy, but this book changed my life. I've always been a big fan of King David and I've been fascinated with his life. David's best friend was Jonathan, and honestly, I really didn't give him much consideration. To me, he was heir to the throne, but because his dad was a selfish loser, Jonathan got the short end of the deal. And that's pretty much all I knew about him. As I read this book, I began to understand how amazing of a guy Jonathan really was and what he meant to David. For some reason, Jonathan wasn't bound by jealousy or hatred, like his dad and like most of us. Jonathan understood what it meant to be a "friend that sticks closer than a brother." He gave it all up, laid it all down, and handed it all over for David and he did it without complaining. Jonathan understood what it meant to have a covenant heart.

I want to be that kind of friend, I want to be a Jonathan, and I want to be remembered for giving my all, I want to make a difference in the lives around me.
