Rating: Summary: experiencing the magic Review: I have tried out some of the techniques in this book, and found them absolutely amazing. I willed some things to happen and they happened in such a way that it could not be thought of as due to something other than myself. The whole book gives hope, and shows that since everything in the world is connected we can have control over our lives. I really recommend this book to everyone, whether with difficulties in life, or just a self exploration. The techniques are really easy and down to earth. It all just clicks into place.
Rating: Summary: a lively and engaging guide to reality selection Review: The book centres around the underlying power of mind over thought. What we think can be altered at will, if only we can admit this to ourself. By changing the way we think we can interact with people around in a much more constructive manner, altering our behaviour to get the most out of life. This can have magical results. In theory it looks great however I have yet o put it into practice personally.
Rating: Summary: How to bring magic into everyday living Review: Written with warmth and humour, which belies it's depth and thought-provoking richness, this book is one of those that changes lives. It is a lively and original introduction to the ideas, tools and techniques of metaphysics, with many practical exercises and beautiful meditations. It offers a vision which challenges many of our assumptions about the world and shows how, among other things, we can grow through love and joy rather than pain and struggle. This can be used as a practical hand-book for life and personal growth. There is no dogma... the whole book is written on the premise of our freedom to choose. I have personally made use of many of the techniques and ideas to successfully turn my life around. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
