Rating: Summary: Bravo!!! Review: I picked this book up on a fluke... I now practice writing my own sacred text...I use the ideas and thoughts and themes of this book everyday since I read it. I read it cover to cover in one day! I have shared my copy with friends, who have in turn bought their own copies and are writing their sacred text. I recommend it to the high schoolers I teach at church camp every year too! Excellent idea. It helps me go beyond the normal "journaling" which I got bored with. Highly recommend this book!
Rating: Summary: This one excited me! Review: I picked this book up on a whim. I wasn't planning on buying anything but this book caught my eye and the next thing I knew, I was bringing it home with me.I devoured it. I marked it with sticky notes. I made notations in my journal of ideas and resources. Then I scoured my bookshelves for potential inspiration. As an avid journal keeper, I was thrilled to find a book that would afford me a new and stimulating way to incorporate a spiritual aspect into my journaling. I found myself rejoicing in the synchronicity of finding this book and wanting to explore my faith more. What I appreciate most is that the book is flexible and can be used for all denominational faiths, even "pagan." No one definition of faith, etc., is promoted so anyone could benefit from exploring this book for a little insight into their own spiritual growth.
