Summary: A book open to us what is the central line of the Bible
Review: I have to admit that this is not an easy book. To read it you have to be serious to the Lord and always look outo Him that He will supply you enough grace and lead you through all the pages. This is the real blessing. I got this book not long after I was saved (1986) but it was not until 1992 that I could really read through it. There are totally 44 chapters in the book. In chapter 1 the author gives an introductory word about a very important term "God's economy"(Greek word "oikonomia" in Ephesians 1:10) which means God's plan and His household administrantion. Most amazing is that startig from chapter 20 the author touches the topic of "Seven Spirits"(from the book of Revelation) which I don't see many bible teachers did. Also 19 chapters expound the ultimate sign in the Bible, the New Jerusalem, in an extremely clear way. My feeling is that this is the crystallized interpretation of the Holy Word. Any serious seekers on the earth should get one copy of this and read through it with a praying spirit. The blessing will be pour down from heavens. Another big volume of book (also by Witness Lee ) which contains more details is "The Conclusion of the New Testament". It took me five years to finish it should also be recommanded. God bless us. Review: The entire Bible of sixty-six books and especially the New Testament is a revelation of one "basic, central, and crucial matter: the New Testament economy of God." The word economy comes from the Greek, oikonomia, meaning household arrangement, household administration, or dispensation. God's New Testament economy is simply His arrangement, His administration, to dispense Himself in His divine Trinity into His chosen people to be their life, life supply, and everything. In order to accomplish this dispensing, the Triune God has taken seven major steps. Chapter by chapter Witness Lee delineates these steps showing how each one is for the purpose of God's dispensing.

How marvelous to know the main subject of the New Testament! The matter of God's New Testament economy is the key to understanding the Bible. All the major and minor biblical truths fit into and are tied together by the basic and central thought of God's New Testament economy.

This book has been immensely helpful to me in having an overall view and understanding of the Bible as a whole. It is the all-inclusive explanation to the many questions I've had concerning numerous biblical truths.

Summary: A Deeper Study of God's Eternal Plan
Review: This book is an excellent thesis on the subject of God's Eternal Plan or Economy as unveiled in the Bible. The book does require one to have a more mature understanding of Christian theology, but is well worth it. I would recommend reading "The Divine Economy" first by the same author as an introduction to this exhaustive book. I consider it one of Witness Lee's best works, after his Life-Study of the Bible series. Some of the theological discourse takes some re-reading to understand, especially the chapter on Christ being in the likeness of the flesh of sin. But over all it is a delightful reading and a joy to see God's eternal plan unfolded before my own understanding. God bless you all.
