Review: I can't say it any plainer than that. The concept of this book... tell the stories of several (15 to be exact) healers is innovative and I hope other authors follow suit.

As a seeker of principles and common threads of energetic healing, I found that "Healing Spirits" was a breath of fresh air. It gives you a good look at the approaches, or the philosophies of healers of a wide variety of backgrounds... a cross- section of sorts.

This book, and "The Healing Energy of Your Hands", by Michael Bradford, are at the top of my list of books recommended to friends with an interest in this area.

Summary: Learning is Healing
Review: I don't think that I had realized how many types of healers that there were practicing in the US. I was amazed at the difference in their approaches and in their philosophies. Yet, their experiences with healing helped me understand the power that they, and all of us have, for healing. I think after reading these wonderful tales of 14 healers I know a lot more about listening to my own body's needs. This is a powerful book for anyone who wishes to know more about how we heal and are healed.
