Rating: Summary: Better and Better Review: A personal favorite of the Quinn Trilogy. Ethan Quinn, the quiet and passionate seaman is portrayed wonderfully by Roberts, as is the location and atmosphere in which this book takes place. Nora Roberts keeps getting better and better!
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: I have always loved books by Nora Roberts and this series is no exception. I fell in love with all of the brothers and found myself rooting for them through all of the books.
Rating: Summary: Good Ending to the Trilogy! Review: This book was the best one out of the three, but the others were really good also. I would recommend this trilogy to any Nora fan, but read them in order!
Rating: Summary: pretty good Review: This falls into the category of light reading. if you're looking for something funny, easy, and quick to read, try this. If you're looking for depth and something to make you think, look elsewhere.I don't usually read this genre, but I like the banter between brothers in this series. The way they interact with each other and each other's wives is amusing and a fun read. Phillip was a little promiscuous for my taste, so check out Ethan's story, Rising Tides too.
Rating: Summary: Inner Harbor Nora Roberts Review: A must read. Make sure you read Sea Swept and Rising Tides first. This one will make you cry, then make you cheer. Makes a beautiful picture from an ugly story.
Rating: Summary: Predictable and boring Review: I found this book to be boring and cliched. I hadn't read the 2 previous parts of the trilogy, so the first part of the book seemed to be covering too much (as I guess is necessary when it's the last part of a trilogy, but I still didn't like it.) I just couldn't get interested in it because I could tell right from the start how it would end (although there was sort of a twist in there). I would have liked a little more suspense about who Sybill was and what she was doing there. All the characters acted like you would expect them to considering their role in the family, with the brothers behaving in "typical" male roles, their wives also acting out their cliched parts, etc.
Rating: Summary: Conclusion to the Trilogy Review: In the last book, a mysterious Dr. Sybill Griffin showed up. Her excuse for showing in this cozy town was to study it. Seth developed a bond with this woman, giving Philip a chance to get to know her better. But she was actually not what she had appeared to be. She was more closely related to Seth than any of the Quinn brothers knew. A wonderful conclusion...!
Rating: Summary: Cookie Review: Inner Harbor is a great read, touching on many hot buttons. The strength and value of family, commitment and duty, not to mention the sheer animal attraction elements. Loved the escape and message!
Rating: Summary: The final chapter in a wonderful trilogy Review: This is Philip's story, the cool sophisticate who is now miles away from the thief who once sold himself for money. As Seth's custody battle comes to a head when his evil mother Gloria shows up, Philip meets author and psychologist Sybil, who has a secret agenda of her own. Once that secret is made public, it's up to Philip to make up his own mind. Can he trust Sybil or will getting involved with her mean losing Seth? I love Philip Quinn, he IS a little too perfect but that's why I read romance. Sybil was difficult to get to know, but once I did, I liked her as well.
Rating: Summary: Inner Harbor Review: This book is excellent. I couldn't put it down until I was finished. Then I wanted to pick it up and read it again. I'm hoping Nora Roberts will write a book about Seth, to fill us in on how everything turns out for everyone involved. Reading about Cam, Ethan, and Phillip, made me want to know more about the whole family. Made me wish I, too, could become part of this wonderful family. The surprising twists and turns in this book kept me reading. I can't say enough good things about this book. Read it for yourself and see if you don't agree.
