Rating: Summary: The best out of the three Review: I must say that this one was the best out of the three novels. Nora Roberts' trilogies are superb. Of course the book also offered explanations of their father who passed away and what his relationship was to the latest Quinn. It is a definite must to read. Can not wait for her next trilogy.
Rating: Summary: Roberts' is once again one of the best in the romance genre. Review: The Quinn trilogy is an example of Ms. Roberts exceptional talent. She began with Cam and ended with Philip, and in between she gave us the "quiet, dark type" Ethan. What can I say that has not been said before...she writes fluidly and one cannot put the book down. The Quinn brothers were no exception. A loving and stunning trilogy with a little sci-fi to entertain. Ray was a great dad who stuck-it out with his sons to the bitter end, and Roberts gives his ghost a comical side. How would you like to see and hear the spirit of your dearly departed advicing you? The mystery of Seth's birth was nicely handled with love and no crudeness. I'm a great admirer and reader of all the Nora Roberts' Romances. If you want to read other great books by her pick up the MacGregor series. Recently published are: The MacGregor Grooms and The MacGregors: Serena-Caine. Its hard to pick out and say which of Ms. Roberts' books is best, but the MacGregor series is great. Many accolades to this wonderful author. She deserves to be #1!!!
Rating: Summary: A stunning trilogy! Worth the hours to read the whole thing Review: Wow! Yesterday I finished this book, the last of the trilogy about the Quinn brothers. I was obsessed with getting to the end, but now I'm sad because those characters are no longer in my life. Nora did a great job of portraying what it was like to come from different realities. She did a wonderful job of dealing with the difficult subject of child abuse (physical, sexual and emotional) and how that shapes the adults that emerge from that type of life. Best of all she shows the power of love, trust and acceptance in healing battered spirits. The love stories, the development of both familial love and romantic love, were powerful. The characters were so real, and of course the men were to die for. And the thread of the father's ghost and younger brother's rehabilitation throughout the three stories is brilliant. Nora has an extraordinary gift. Thankfully she shares it with us.
Rating: Summary: GREAT BOOK! Review: I have just finsihed reading this book and was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I thought the characters were very intresting and well discribed. One thing I want to know is why have there only been 46 books sold?? This is such a good book and I'm dissapointed that more people have not been buying it!
Rating: Summary: Could not put down. Review: The first Nora Roberts book made me look for all books by her. Just finished Inner Harbor and the trilogy of her Quinn brothers. Such fantastic writing. Never cry over books, did these 3. Had never read any of her boods til Sea Sept, love them all. Will look for all her books.
Rating: Summary: delightful Review: Each and every book by Ms. Roberts is a treat to read. I have yet to be disappointed with her. Inner Harbor is the perfect ending to a wonderful story....each page seeming to turn itself. I find myself sad this one is over <pout> ::smile
Rating: Summary: A great finish Review: Inner Harbor answered a lot of questions and finished a series the way only Nora Roberts can. Phillip and Sybill's story was great and I always love hearing about Cam and Anna and Ethan and Grace. A must read if you're a Nora Roberts fan!
Rating: Summary: Gripping finale for a fascinating trilogy Review: I eagerly awaited the conclusion of Nora Roberts recent trilogy to find out the resolution of Seth's status as an official Quinn. I also wanted to know how the author would explain his relationship to Professor Quinn. I began reading at 8:00 p.m. Christmas night as a "few chapters" worth of a gift to myself. At 2:30 a.m. I finished the last few pages and decided it was the best gift of the season!!!
Rating: Summary: Nora Roberts has done it again! Review: What else can I say? If you haven't read Sea Swept and Rising Tides, BUY THEM!!! Ms. Roberts has done a masterful job of drawing in the reader so that you feel unbelievably connected to the characters. I won't spoil the book for readers, but there was one point in the book that simply wrenched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. My thanks to Nora Roberts for reminding me yet again of why she's my favorite author!!! I don't know where I'll get my "fix" until the next MacGregor book is released! :-D
Rating: Summary: Well worth the wait Review: A superbly sensitive book full of love, hope, and humour. Phillip Quinn's reaction to his deceased father's ghost was perfect and gave him a chance for closure. The book accurately shows that money can not buy happiness or love. Dr. Sybill Griffin is wonderful as the latest of the Quinn women. She is perfect for Phillip. The revelation of Seth's true relationship to raymond Quinn was great. It would have been so easy to bungle it and make it look silly but Nora Roberts comes through again. With her talent for vivid characters and fabulous story, I eagerly await her next novel.
