Rating: Summary: WHERE'S THE DRAMA????? Review: I FELT THAT THE BOOK WAS NOT FITTING FOR ITS TITLE. MOST OF THE MATERIAL WRITTEN JUST DIDN'T EXCITE ME. I WAS EXPECTING SOMETHING REALLY JUICY, BUT INSTEAD I GOT SOMETHING REALLY BORING. IT WAS A NICE EFFORT THOUGH. MAYBE THE NEXT BOOK WILL BE A LITTLE MORE INTERESTING.
Rating: Summary: CAN U SAY DRAMA Review: I finish this book in a day and a half. This book is filled with so much drama, it makes your life look simple. Lying, cheating, deciet, and hate, and thats just in the prolouge. This is a MUST READ. La Jill Hunt, you did your thing. I have the sequel No More Drama right in front of me and cant wait to read it.
Rating: Summary: Talented Writer! Review: i had nover heard of this writer before. I took a chance on buying the book because of the cover. I was glad that I did. It's HOT! I enjoyed reading it from cover to cover. I hope to read more from Ms. LaJill Hunt in the literary field. She keeps it real as she writes.
Rating: Summary: Drama At It's Best Review: I have to say that I am with the majority on this book, you will not want to put it down. For those few who didn't like it, you're entitled to your opinion but in MY opinion La Jill Hunt accomplished what many great authors before her have managed to do which is make you identify with the characters and leave you wanting more. When you read this book it'll make you want friends like Roni, Tia, Yvonne, and Terrell. If you already have these types of friends this book makes you appreciate them even more. The main character, Kayla, is not only beautiful but intelligent with a good support system of friends and family. Kayla has flaws like we all do so at times she makes decisions that aren't always right but you will never stop rooting for her. I loved this book and can't wait for the sequel and any other books from Ms. Hunt.
Rating: Summary: A good read Review: I liked this book because it was so real. Young ladies today are sometimes all about the money, but this young lady did what was needed for her and her child. Also, I loved the way her friends, true friends stepped up to help. A good book all the way!
Rating: Summary: WHERE IS PART II??????? Review: I ONLY HAD TIME TO READ MY BOOK ON THE TRAIN BACK AND FORTH TO WORK. IN TUESDAY AND FRIDAY I MISSED MY STOP. I WAS SO INTO THE BOOK I COULDNT HEAR OR SEE ANYONE AROUND ME. THE BOOK REALLY KEPT MY ATTENTION. A DEFINATE "MUST READ"
Rating: Summary: A Must Read Review: I read this author's work in a Dollar and a Dream....I knew once her book hit the stores it was going to be off the hook...this book would keep you up all night just to finish it. I finished this book in 1 1/2 day...I sat aside everything I had to do and read it. I can't wait until part two comes out so I can see what happens to the main people...Keep um coming girl. You did a very good job on this one and I know your next will be the same.
Rating: Summary: You Go LaJill! Review: I really enjoyed LaJill's book. I basically read it in one day. Kayla was in love with this guy named Geno. When trouble came in their relationship (which you will have to read for yourself) she started talking to Craig and got pregnant by him. She is in love with one man and pregnant by the other. Kayla keeps it real because she could have lied but she didn't. She just goes for the ride of all the drama to come. Kayla finds out that she doesn't know Craig like she thought she did, her and Geno are broke up and everything seems to be going wrong. Kayla finds out who is true blue and who isn't. The book is just good. It is filled with lots of events you won't see coming. It is also funny. I can't wait to read LaJill's next book.
Rating: Summary: D-R-A-M-A!!! Review: I thought I had Drama in my life...Not for real. All I have is everyday struggles compared to what Kayla went through. The title fits this book perfectly. This is a must read.
About the Author, LaJill is from my hometown. She actually graduated from the same high school as my sister. It feels good to know someone from Mobile, AL can become so successful and well known in the book world. I praise her for all of her accomplishments.
Rating: Summary: Loved it!!! Review: I thought this book was a great read. The author used characters and situations that anyone could have found themselves in. It wasn't a hard core novel that tried to be all deep like a lot of books are these days. And I don't inderstand how some people actually felt that there was no drama. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Like another reviewer said, maybe they should consider writing something on their own and enlighten us on whatever 'DRAMA' is! It was a light hearted, fun read that held my attention throughout. I give Ms. Hunt five stars because for a first effort, I believe she did an outstanding job. I look forward to the sequel!!! In regards to the name pet peeve, I knew my children's names since I was in the fourth grade, nicknames and all!!! Awesome job, Lajill. Keep up the great work.
