Rating: Summary: Maybe Review: Absolutely entertaing; you could really relate to the main character and her struggles.
Rating: Summary: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Review: Mr. Maybe by Jane Green was by f-a-r the best book I have ever read. The story line is extremely intersting and there is never a dull moment. It's one of those books you have to force yourslef to put down but then when you're getting torwards the end you find yourself reading it very slowly because you don't want it to ever end. You'll feel as if you're Libby and you're dating the gorgeous Nick who isn't going anywhere in life and the RICH but undesirable Ed. And I guareentee you the ending will not dissapoint you! I recommend this book to every teenage girl who is trying to figue out just what exactly love is.
Rating: Summary: Can't Put it Down!! Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. It was one of those books that you can't put down and i love those kind of books because it makes for a quicker read. I just liked how she meets this amazing guy and has to go through so many struggles for it to finally end up happy. Jane Green, in my opinion, is a great author, i love how she puts in an English accent and also adds in the funky words they use in Great Britian. There's always something exciting to come, so you never want to put the book down. It's a great book! I recommend it to anyone, but especially high school girls!
Rating: Summary: Gonna LOVE this book Review: WOW! This book is not only enticing, but one that you won't be able to put down! You fall in love with the characters, Libby for her wittyness, Nick for his cute little ways, and annoying Ed. I have read the book twice now, and both times i completely loved it. Jane Green uses words to describe many of the emotions that I have felt before, only she puts them into words I couldn't have done myself! Completely love this book, and I have also read Jemima J, and loved that also! I can't wait to read more of Jane Greens books!
Rating: Summary: Just couldn't put it down! Review: Libby has the vision of the perfect man that she would spend the rest of her life with. She meets Nick, and she decides that she won't get emotionally involved because he doesn't have all of the "Mr. Right features". Then Ed comes along, and he has it all...money, house, prestige. He has everything except the chemistry that Libby realizes is a top priority. This book kept me up until 3AM because I just couldn't put it down. I loved it, and I will definitely read more books from this author.
Rating: Summary: Keeps you going---you don't want to stop reading! Review: Yes, yes, I know. In the past, I have explained that I hate predictibility and stories that seem non-realistic. Well, in this book, only a couple of parts made me say, "Yeah, right!" The rest made me say, "OH YEEAHH!" I don't know if it was the sexy Nick character, or Libby, the main character, or her irritating mom. I can't pinpoint it. It was extremely enjoyable. Libby is a brit chick who works in PR (Thank goodness it didn't focus too much on her job, like some other chick books, I would have been very bored) It had just the right amount. She was trying to make a morning news woman famous, all the while, charging up her love life. She meets Nick. No money, but a lot of charm! He's an aspiring writer, and he was "supposed" to be a fling. He's fun, good in bed, and if he was real, I would even try to grab him! She tries to keep it casual, but he sees through her, and slinks out of the picture. In comes Ed. Yawn, is all I can say, and that's how he is supposed to be. He's apparently famous in the financial world, and rich as Aaron Spelling, but he never has time for a social life, or to date for that matter. He falls head over heels for Libby. Now, she must decide. Should she be with the predictable, terrible in the sack, but loyal and in love Ed? Or, should she be with the fun-loving, wonderful, but broke Nick? Read to find out! Unfortunately, yes, this character places a little too much emphasis on the "money" bit, and living a rich life, but I can forgive it! I just felt that it was so well written (especially the bedroom scenes) and even with 357 pages, I was never bored! Highly recommended!
Rating: Summary: Totally enjoyable Review: I loved this book. I feel in love with the character who stumbles through relationships which mirror ones we all know that we have had, all the while thinking the very thoughts you deny having yourself. Light, endearing, and sweet. Only advice, read somewhere you can laugh loud. Read it, and then give it to you best girlfriend.
Rating: Summary: Interesting..... Review: Though this book was a bit more graphic than I thought, I thought it was funny. I enjoyed it greatly and suggest it for anyone who needs a laugh. Good show!
Rating: Summary: Jane Green fan Review: If you are a Jane Green fan, you will love Mr. Maybe..It is funny, sexxy and an easy read. A perfect escape for those who want to get away from it all, while riding the train home. However, Jane Green can become addicting, so once you read Mr. Maybe, I definitely reccommend Jemima J, Straight Talking, Bookends and her new one, Spellbound.
