Summary: Loved it
Review: I loved this book I read it in a day. I thought it was really funny and cute. I realy liked the characters. Sometimes Megan did get on my nerves when she refused to be nice to the hero but it wasnt bad enough for me to dislike the book for it. I read a couple of Lindsey books but thy was my favorite......read it!

Summary: ok book
Review: Well I liked this book to a point. I have an older version of it and the cover art is wonderful.Fabio never looked so good! Also I liked the fiestiness of the characters. They had substance to them. I liked the verbal confrontations between the hero and the heroine. I found the characters to be funny and filled with passion and vulnerable too.

The story has the Hero posing as a lowly horse trainer and stable master. He is actually Ambrose St. James, Duke of Wrothston. Now the reasons for his hiding are a bit uncharacteristic but its the only way he's going to meet the heroine. Megan Penworthy is a beautiful young woman who has set her sights on marrying Ambrose in order to show the villiage that she is worthy. She is shunned by most because of her beauty and she has learned to act a certain way to keep men at bay.

When Devlin, aka Ambrose, shows up he gets under her skin right away. She is unnerved by him and finds herself strongly attracted to him. He finds Megan to be a brat. but one that he desires to make his own.

This is a easy read and enjoyable.

Summary: Classic Lindsey
Review: Man of my Dreams was one of my first Johanna Lindsey books. It still remains as one of my favorites. It's standard historical romance, so there's nothing new and innovative involved, but the characters are likable and they drive the story along, keeping me captivated throughout the whole book.

Of course, this book does have one little problem. We all know what's involved in romance novels--it's why we read them, right? Well, it kind of kills the mood to see the phrase "appendage of procreation." It only appears once, so it's a minor flaw, but it disturbs me every time I come across it. But it's not enough to keep me from reading this book over and over again.

After you read Man of My Dreams, pick up a copy of Love Me Forever. You'll see some familliar characters--and because of that, Love Me Forever is an even better book.

Summary: Too funny !!!
Review: This book was laugh out loud outrageous. Megan's tendency to carry on full-blown conversations and arguments with her conscience was hysterical! The interaction between Megan and Devlin were a delight. He was gorgeous, wicked, and totally lost in his desire for Megan. Devlin the "horse breeder" was a challenge to Megan from the very first introduction thus providing many hilarious arguments inside Megan's head. It was during one of these such passages that I found my very favorite Megan quip. Definitely a keeper, immediately after finishing the last page I went back and re-read the last half of the book again. Fab-u-lous!

Summary: Very disppointed in this book!
Review: I had read all of J. Lindsey's Malory books and was all set for another great story. What I found was that there was ton of potential here with this story, but it never developed. We never learn really why Megan is so bent on marrying a titled gentleman, nothing except she has been snubbed, but that wasn't believable enough. I never felt her character developed beyond that of a spoiled brat and I never felt any connection to the characters. Usually I root for the characters to come together. With Devlin and Megan I could care less and that disappoints me.

Summary: Good Story, Tedious Writing Style
Review: This is not her best work as it is marred by her writing style, which is boringly repetitive. Every other page she uses the same adjectives to describe her key characters. She creates a great storyline and then makes it tedious by the non-stop arguing between the characters. Give me a break! You almost want to throttle the heroine to shut up, as does one of the highway men, who thought initially he fancied her too. Another tedious distraction is the converstaion her heroine keeps having with her conscience. It adds nothing to the book and is annoying. I very much enjoy Ms. Lindsey's books in general and hope to read all of them. This, however, was not one of my favorites.

Summary: Best of Johanna Lindsey
Review: I've read most of Johanna Lindsey's books, and this one is certainly the best in my opinion. I was laughing out loud at Megan, and Devlin is one of the sexiest heros in the genre. It's one of Mrs. Lindsey's steamier romance novels, and also one of the more comedic. You'll fall in love with the characters, and you'll be cheering at the end when Megan gets her revenge on the society matriarch who snubbed her before she was a duchess. I usually am not one to reread books, but I've read this one at least 4 times. I never get sick of it. I highly recommend it!

Summary: What a book!
Review: This was one of Lindsey's great romance books (but aren't they all^^). I loved Megan and Devlin, and ..hehe ...Sir Ambrose, the name of the duke and also Megan's horse. Megan and Devlin couldn't admit he they loved each other, they were miserable but didn't admit it. Megan is just a crazy girl and a spoiled brat, and Devlin...the horse breeder and also the duke... he himself is spoiled too. And what a combination that makes. But overall this book is GREAT! I enjoyed reading it a lot, thank you Lindsey for writing such wonderful romance books! If you are romance book fan then you must check this one out! I recommend it

Summary: Excellent without a doubt
Review: This is one of those stories that you truly wish you were the heroine. There are many humourous parts that will have you chuckling and even when you have turned the last page you'll still be thinking about it and sighing wishing that it was you.

Summary: THIS BOOK WAS ALRIGHT
Review: I'll admit that it is an interesting story but the charactors seemed kind of boring. Devlin was charming but Megan was just too boring. There was also not enough action between the two charactors and the story it's self. It was worth reading, but I have read much better books from JL.
