Review: this has to be my favorite of garwood's books.she is my favorite author and i have read a good many authors.the bride is a very funny and enjoyable love story. the detail is excellent,you feel as if your exspericing everything the charcters do. i hate the who they hate and love who they love.I almost feel as if I'm there.

Review: I am a long time Garwood reader and fan. THE BRIDE was one of her best. Jamie was an English noble woman forced to marry a Scott with a notorious past. She was scared, furious and full of hatred of her new husband. He was reported as having murdered his first wife. Jamie was terrified she was going to be his next victim, but as time past her heart softened and a love developed as did the circumstances surrounding his first wife's death.

Review: this was my first garwood book and it's definitely one of her best. at times it was so funny that I nearly fell off the chair, laughing that hard. it was also a romantic and touching story, I simply loved it.

Review: I have read many books by Julie Garwood and this is by far the best one that I have read. The romance that builds between Alec and Jaime is just breathtaking! I read the book from start to finish without ever putting it down. I would recommed this book to anyone who likes romance novels, whether first time readers or hopelessly devoted ones. =)
