Rating: 2 stars
Summary: mediocre
Review: I waited all this time, what a drag. This should have been the best of the series, it is the worst. Get it at your library. After about 50 pages you realize these two are going to talk themselves to death. Also, where's the sex! They both needed other mates. Rothgar needs someone more lively and without the baggage of a title. She needs a pirate. Ms. Beverley should have written two books, one for each character.

What a waste.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Okay, but was hoping for more
Review: I must agree with a few other fans who have read the previous books of the Malloren saga. Rothgar's character was built up so much I could hardly wait for his story. It was okay but I was hoping for more than what was written. My favorite in the series was Something Wicked - Elf and Fort's story. Glad to have the series completed.

Summary: Any Thing is Possible with a Malloren
Review: Jo Beverley's done it again. Devilish is the fifth book on a family that is so compelling and masterful that every one is a keeper. When Bey Malloren, Marqiuss of Rothgar and Diana Westmount, Countess of Arradale first meet in Secrets of the Night, who would have guessed that they would end up together in Devilish. The sexual tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife. These two personalities are so alike that they can't help but try to master the other in a game of wills. They are perfect for each other. I hope Ms. Beverley keeps the Mallorens going in furture stories about their children. I bet they can get into all kinds of trouble! Great read!

Summary: With all due respect to the author, I really think
Review: that Rothgar, the superstar he is, deserves better than Diana "Whiney" Westmount. A woman who keeps whining about how frigid or how dull her life is yadda yadda yadda is close to Ally McBeal territory.

Rothgar needs a jovial, daring, reckless widow or daring hellion who can match his infamous reputation and will. NOT a windbag who keeps crying because she's doomed to remain a virgin or something (sheesh!).

Poor Rothgar. *sigh*

Summary: Gotta love those Mallorens
Review: I absolutely loved this book. I have not read the first book with Cyn and Chastity, because it is out of print, but I love the other books including this one. Rothgar is a great charmer and devoted brother...but he needed Diana to complete is life. Their story is one that I will re-read many times. Jo Beverley is great!

Summary: Anthing is Possible
Review: I have read all five books in the Malloren series. This is a good ending, not a great, by still worth the wait. I was hoping for more romantic involvement between Bey and Diana- all the previous books hinted at Bey's virility. I liked that all the family, except for younger brother Cyn, was involved. I still don't know what caused Bey's mother to kill his sister. It wasn't realy explained that well, and it shaped Bey's life that he grew up to be the man that he was, private and not willing to marry and have an heir for fear of passing on the mental defect to his child. Plus, the whole book took place in a matter of less than 4 weeks, including their marriage. Oh well, can't wait for the re-release of the Company of Rogue series.

Summary: Devilish Pleasure
Review: This is a wonderful book. The period details are interesting, i.e. King George III before the American Revolution and madness. What's wonderful is that the hero and heroine are equal in stature, looks, brains, and attraction. The chemistry between them sizzels but there is also humor. It would be a pity if this would be the last of the Mallorans.

How about an encore, please?

Summary: Elegantly satisfying
Review: This is my first book by Jo Beverley, and I picked it up based on editorial reviews. I particularly enjoyed the characters Bey and Diana, who proved themselves lovely and mature individuals, and treated each other with respect and delightful thoughtfulness. Their instant connection and growing closeness was a great pleasure to discover as the book progressed, and their individually strong personalities only added to the richness of their relationship as a couple. A very good read, and an author I'll keep an eye out for.

Summary: Good read, but not as good as the others
Review: I have read all of the other Malleron books, and was eagerly awaiting this one. I was dissapointed. I didn't think that this one flowed as well as the others in this series. It is still a pretty good book, but it didn't hold me like the other ones did. I think that the author had built up Rothgar so much, that when she did write his story, she didn't quite know what to do with him. Diana was at one minute a mature person, the next childish. That was a little hard to believe, considering how old she was and the responsiblity she had. I found the bedroom scenes few and far between, unlike her previous. To me, if they were really that passionate about each other, they would have been there a whole lot more. This is still a good book, but not one of her best.

Summary: A Grand Finale!
Review: Finally! After all the waiting and wondering about the mysterious Marquess of Rothgar, Jo Beverley gives us his story! We have had glimpses of him in the previous Malloren books (My Lady Notorious, Tempting Fortune, Something Wicked, Secrets of the Night) and wondered if he would ever meet his match. He is a powerful man, determined not to marry. Then he meets Diana, a powerful countess, also determined not to marry. Although they sense the amazing relationship they could have together, they decide to stay with the paths they have chosen for themselves. But, they are surrounded by political intrigue and a match-making king and queen - plus the other match-making Mallorens (not to be taken lightly, by any means!) can they manage to stay apart? Or will they find a way to overcome the obstacles between them and find happiness together? Just remember - With a Malloren, all things are possible!
