Summary: Engaging Read with a History
Review: Having read Nora Roberts' first book written in 1981, Irish Thoroughbred, this book was fun because it featured the daughter of the couple in that first book. Keely, daughter of Adelia and Travis Grant, is every bit as independent and feisty as her Irish mother and as strongly committed to her values and honor as her father. Brian Donnelly is brought to America from Ireland by Travis Grant to take over the job of horse trainer on his ranch. Brian and Keely lock horns immediately. Brian thinks she is a spoiled princess when actually Keely is a hard worker who has her own business teaching rich and poor children how to ride. Keely thinks Brian has a chip on his shoulder. Brian eventually discovers what Keely does and how she helps children and also mistreated horses and offers to help her.

The book is entertaining, enjoyable and relaxing to read. Especially if you've read the first novel. In addition to reading Irish Rebel, I'd suggest getting Nora Roberts Irish Hearts, which contains the first novel, Irish Thoroughbred and the second novel, Irish Rose all three are great books you're sure to enjoy.

Summary: love that irish sizzle!
Review: i absolutely love the characters of these books. in irish rebel we are yet again introduced to a young (this time male) man who comes over to work the horse ranch from ireland. the sparks fly between him and keeley almost at first sight and im not only speaking about desire. once they are able to hold a conversation without yelling at one another, they realize their true feelings. this book keeps you laughing as you turn the pages and sooner than you want, its over. i hope there will be more about the other kids! ::smile

Summary: My Favorite Book!
Review: I absolutely love this novel and can't get enough of it! Nora Roberts is an outstanding author and presents a wonderful love story with all the excitement and emotion as expected from a Robert's novl. I relate more to this story than any other I have ever read, and I find it to be extrodinary! If you like Nora Roberts, you will love Irish Rebel.

Summary: Another good Romance
Review: I am loyal to Nora Roberts books, especially her romance novels. This one was no exception. It was great to see the children of Travis and Dee being fully grown, having last seen them as little children in Irish Hearts. Keeley was a very realistic woman, discovering her sensuous side after Brian awakened feelings she had never known. Brian is a wandering soul, always moving on to the next challenge. He puts up a fight with Keeley, flirting with her but trying not to get into deep to avoid the wrath of her father, Travis, who is his boss. Love wins in the end, as it always does, but it didn't come easily and not even too predictably.

Summary: Excellent
Review: I am not usually interested in contemperary romance but Nora Roberts does such a great job when her characters are from Ireland or Scotland. I did not want to put this book down and did not want it to end. I absolutly love her heroine, and the hero seemed to tell the story which gave it a little more.

Summary: Keeley makes this book wonderful!
Review: I have to say that I really liked this book alot. The book will have more depth if you read her two previous books (in one volume) called Irish Hearts first. Although dont shy away from this one, even if you dont care to know more history about the secondary characters. You'll love how the woman gets to do the seducing and is a wonderfully strong person in this book. She has poise and grace that some might say is lacking in a lot of the modern romance novels that are written today. Make sure you dont miss this one folks! Its definitely a keeper!!!

Summary: Good to see old faces.
Review: I loved this story. It was interesting on it's own, but also good to see the Grant's again. Read it for yourself.

Summary: Nora does it again!
Review: I really liked this book for the way Nora Roberts uses her characters in understandable, realistic and romantic ways. Her books are fun to read because they are not full of overly sweet romantic mess. They are more like a real romantic couple . . . and I like that.
