Summary: Devil's Daughter
Review: ... The book lacked her usual intrigue. It was confusing.. And agree also we needed an english teacher to pronounce most of the names in it.. I found I could not get myself totally involved because one spends to much effort trying to figure out the names, and titles, & places.. It was just very difficult to read and stay with. I have many of her books and have enjoyed them all up to this one. It seem to take forever to get into the story line and was hard to follow. Hope her books that follow are better.

Summary: This is a fast paced, intriguing romance.
Review:

I found this book very enjoyable, with one exception. Though there were many entralling incidents, none of them went into great detail. This was a little bit of a disappointment, coming from such a wonderful writer. This book is perfect for a rainy afternoon. You won't put it down. I know I didn't. Please consider reading more books by Catherine Coulter

Summary: Not One of Coulter's Best
Review: After reading Devil's Embrace which was really good and rates up there with the best of Coulter's work, I looked forward to reading Devil's Daughter. However, I was disapointed. I am a fan of Ms. Coulter, infact, she is my favorite author. This was the first book that I've read of hers (and I have read many) that didn't totally measure up to her abilities. It was almost half way through the book before it started to get interesting. It was nice to know what became of the characters from Devil's Embrace, though not exciting. There were so many characters in this story that none other than Arabella and Kamal (they deserve the 3 star rating) seemed to get any real development. Adam and Rayna had potential but were not given the depth in development, they could of had their own book. The book finally got interesting when the story got into Arabella and Kamal, but this was the last half of the book if even that. Also, the story was less realistic than usual. Romance novels are fantasies and do lack, to a certain extent, in what the real world of love is or would be. The ending was brief and unbelievable in that after two months of pain, (Arabella thinking the relationship is over), he walks back into her life and she doesn't even question what the problem was. Oh well, not even Coulter is perfect. As a side note: I wish all authors would give a clue as to how to correctly pronounce some of these names they use!

Summary: From back of book:
Review: Enslaving Passion
His imperious blue eyes raked over her trembling body. She had never imagined that Kamal, the savage sultan who dared make her a harem slave, would look so like a blond Nordic god. She had never dreamed that the warm, exploring touch of his hand could bring such moans to her lips and rob her of her will.....

Inescapable Love
He was aflame with urgent desire , and he knew he would take by force what he longed to win by love. Her golden loveliness had conquered his very soul, but her cruel taunts stung his fierce pride. Now her sweet essence , her tantalizing nearness, ignited his need for her to yield her ripe innocence to him and him alone.....

Summary: GREAT!!!!!
Review: I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE DID IT TO ME AGAIN. THIS BOOK IS GREAT. I LOVE IT. I COULD HARDLY PUT IT DOWN. THE CHARACTER AND THE PLOT KEPT ME IN SUSPENSE. I COULDN'T HARDLY CONTAIN MYSELF. I ALMOST FLIP TO THE END OF THE BOOK JUST SO THAT I COULD FIND OUT HOW EVERYTHING GOES. TO SEE IF EVERYONE TURNS OUT OKAY. TO SEE IF HE STILL RULE OR NOT. TO FIND THE ANSWERS TO EVERYTHING AND ALL MY QUESTIONS.

THIS IS ONE BOOK I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO READ BUT READ DEVILS EMBRACE FIRST THEN THIS ONE. THAT WAY YOU WON'T GET CONFUSE AS TO WHAT HAPPEN TO WHOM, WHAT, WHY, WHERE, WHEN, ALL THE 5 W'S AND THE HOW'S. TRUST ME!! READ DEVILS EMBRACE YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS HOW ALL THIS CAME TO BE.

Summary: a great book 2 read while lying in a comfortable bed
Review: i found this book in my older cousin's basement when i was sleeping over and i was about 10yrs old and when i read it i definatly couldn't put it down. even though i was 10 i knew what every word had meant. devil's daughter was fantastic it was like some of my fantasy books with romance and adventure. in all it's a great book and once u read this book u might get hooked. the way Mrs. Coulter writes it's like ur in it. the way she describes Kamal, and Arabella and all the other characters in the book. adn how they have so many fights it's so hard to count but u'll get it in the end. the little bad thing was when Adam was speaking about something it was boring but i read it through so i didn't miss anything important.

Summary: The Devil's Daughter stays with you for years!
Review: I read this as a teenager in the 1980's and looked for it forever it seems (my dumb brother forgot to pack it or something!) I finally found the name when I emailed Ms. Coulter and she told me what it was called! I was so ecstatic I bought both the old version and the new one! Ms Coulter is a great writer and the characters in this book really stand out! The leading lady and the sultan are like oil and water on fire at first! Then the sparks really fly! YOU MUST read this if you're a Coulter fan or like a good book that gives you enough fun and sensuality and laughter to keep you turning the pages til the end! I have several of her books and I love them all!
