Rating: Summary: An interesting read Review: I enjoyed this author's writing style a great deal. The characters were intelligent, wity and the men were sensitive. What more could a girl want? As for the story-it started off well. Our heroine wants to save her quiet friend from marrying someone her parents want her to so she spreads gossip. As the notorious Lord X, Felicity can write about anyone she chooses and stay incognito. Only Ian, our dangerous lord, doesn't like being the subject of a gossip column and tracks her down. Then the conflict ensues. He falls for her, but she won't marry him until he can tell her the truth of his past. That's where it starts to get boring. We don't hear of his exploits as a spy in the war or any other interesting story. What we get is an accident. And the bad guy just disappears, never causes anyone problems. Sure, he is a vicous, violent man, but he would never harm anyone. I could have used a little more intruige and conflict. All in all, though, it was a good read. I enjoyed the other two couples featured as friends to Ian so I think I'll pick up the first installments to this series.
Rating: Summary: Ian and Felicity Review: I love all the LORD books, but THE DANGEROUS LORD is my favorite. I love all the three lords, but it's Ian whom I love the best. When I think of this trilogy, it's always Ian who comes into mind first. Surely that's a sign *G*. Felicity is my favorite SJ heroine. She's definitely Ian's match. I love it when their wills clash and the sparks fly! This book is truly a gem. I always wish it was longer, but I know Ian and Felicity live beyond the pages of this book.
Rating: Summary: Great Read on a Lonely Night Review: I loved this book. The female character in the story had spunk, and the male character admired it. I subtracted a star because I like to get to know the characters. I like to live inside their heads and feel what they are feeling and know what they are thinking. I found this a little hard to do because the characters were a little too one dimensional. The story was too predictable, and a little too unbelievable. This all sounds bad, so why the four stars, because truly I loved the book. Chemistry is very important between the main characters and these two had it.
Rating: Summary: I would give this 3 and a 1/2 stars Review: I read the first 2 in this series and gave both of them 5 stars. They were amazing. This was okay compared to them. The 1st 2 books I could not put down and read in 1 or 2 days this one took me almost 4 to read. I suffered through a lot of parts that were quite boring. I think the problem with this story actually the plot is an example of what I once read. It said that a reader can become completely bored with a story if the misunderstanding that drags the plot along can be easily fixed early in the story if the 2 characters just talk. And they say that this is a problem many new authors have, but Jeffries is not a new author and since I know that her other books were great this use of a shabby plot was disapointing. I don't know if would have finished the book if I hadn't read the 1st 2. If Ian had just told felicity his secret in the beginning the book could have been finished in 1 chapter also I wanted to strangle felicity most of the book. One more thing that annoyed me is that in the 3 books we never find out if Sara and Gideon had a boy or girl. At the end of Pirate Lord they are back in London for the birth of their child. In the 2nd book we find out that Emily and Jordan have a son and in the 3rd they mention Sara and Emily going into a nursery at Sara's house but never mention if Sara had a son or daughter. That bothered me a bit. Oh well enough venting I'm sure I will still read more of Jeffries books.
Rating: Summary: An okay read Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this romance! .... This love story reads a lot like a chess match. The heroine makes a move; the hero makes a counter move. They argue with logic. This story is a battle of wills. Watching the hero & heroine circle each other is so much fun. Just when I thought the the story was going to take a turn for the worse, it doesn't. The uncle is a little weak, but you have to have a villain.Ms. Jeffries never underestimates the intelligence of her readers. This is a well-written and enjoyable romance. I'm rating this romance four stars, because while it was a sizzling pageturner, it didn't have that certain snap that makes a romance irresistable. Nevertheless, I recommend "The Dangerous Lord" highly. I'm off to read the rest of her series....

Rating: Summary: An okay read Review: I thought that this book was an okay read. The main characters were good and their dialogue entertaining. But I found the plot left alot to be desired especially the secret Ian is hiding. It could have used a little spicing up. A bit too fairy tale for my tastes. But still a decent enough read.
Rating: Summary: A Fun Read, Jeffries handles the sexual tension very well Review: I'd have given this book 5 stars if only the author hadn't fallen into the same trap too many romance writers fall in, and that is having the heroine carry on ad nauseum about whatever the main conflict is (an untold secret, or whatever). Jeffries is a good writer, sometimes she can turn a striking phrase. I know the formula calls for an overlong "fret" by the hero or heroine, but it really does become tiresome sometimes...this is a problem with the whole genre, though, Ms. Jeffries is less tedious about it than almost any author I've read. Highly recommend.
Rating: Summary: A light, fun read! Review: Ian and Felicity are a great pair. Poor Felicity makes a meager living writing a gossip column. When she makes the mistake of turning her pen to Ian, which scares away a prospective bride, he's not very happy. He sets about trying to discover the identity of the famous Lord X. When he discovers Felicity is one and the same, the games begin. It isn't long before he realizes that, not only has Felicity ruined his good name with talk of flaunting mistresses so that no good woman will wed him, he actually likes the plucky Felicity. He needs to marry for the usual English Lord reasons and he decides that Felicity will do nicely. She resists as long as she can, but Ian is mighty persuasive. Seduction turns to marriage with a lot of fun along the way. This is my first Jeffries, but it won't be my last!
Rating: Summary: Have to love her Heroes Review: If you like to fall in love with your heroes laugh aloud when you read a romance and not be kept up all night reading this book is for you. Sabrina Jeffries has found a perfect match for the notorious Ian Lennard with gossip columnist Felicity Taylor. They are well matched in temperament, intelligence and in their loyalty to their families. It was an interesting. There is enough conflict to make the story line interesting and not so much that your left wondering why they ever got together. This book is a great Sunday afternoon read.
